I can only recommend the Arden City Hotel. The location is perfect, the rooms are very clean. But what impressed me most were the employees! All employees, whether cleaners, porters or restaurant staff, are extremely friendly and helpful. The reception staff - Emre and Ömer - are also extremely friendly, always in a good mood and very helpful. I have been to many hotels around the world, but I have never experienced such helpfulness and friendliness in any other hotel.

We stayed the second time in the Arden City Hotel and like the great friendliness and attention of the whole staff. The roof-top-restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner offers delicious food and an outstanding view to the Hagia Sophia and the Bosporus. We are looking forward to come back.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is exceptional, the room is comfortable and clean, with a wonderful view of the greatest sights of Istanbul. The staff is very friendly, especially Ömer and Bariş. All recommendations for this hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet.

Having walked past this hotel on 3 previous trips to Istanbul we finally decided to book it We arrived on an early flight and reached the hotel at about 6-6:30 am As check in isn't till much later we thought we'd go out to try & find breakfast & then rest till our room was ready. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a larger room with 1 of the few balconies the hotel offers. They offered us a complimentary breakfast. Breakfast was largely a Turkish affair with bread, cheese, eggs, various cold meat cuts, fruit, tea, coffee, juice etc ... The views from the breakfast area across the Bosphorus were amazing. Staff are extremely attentive and efficient. We were checked into our room much earlier than expected. While the room decor is dated it is still clean and we had no issues. Staff at the hotel are generally friendly and helpful in any way they can. It's an ideal location with a 5 minute walk to Sultanahmet tram station & Gulhane tram station. The Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque & Topkapi palace are all within 10 minutes walk. The grand bazaar is walking distance. There are restaurants & shops nearby for food, snacks, shopping etc A lovely hotel close to all attractions.

We didnt stay at this hotel, but one just a few doors away in the same street... We have just come back form 10 days in Istanbul, and this hotel's restaurant was one of our 3 favourites... We had two dinners here,... The Manager and staff were lovely and so was the food... but what makes it, is the restaurants lovely terrace location, with views of The Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque , Golden Horn and Gulhane Park... We had some excellent mezzes, sea Bass, and burgers.. really recommend.
