This hotel was our "find of the trip" featuring comfortable beds, adequately-sized rooms, nice toiletries. The common seating / reading space on every floor came in handy as we were bicycle-touring and we had to both assemble and disassemble our bikes. The self-serve laundry is another TOP feature. The higher-floor rooms were quiet but we also had a bigger room on the second floor that was almost equally quiet. Most importantly, we felt safe in this hotel during the recent earthquake in April 2024.

We stayed for 3 nights. We requested to check-in early for a fee and were able to get into our room at 9am after arriving from overseas. Service and front desk were very help with whatever we needed. Rooms were clean and modern and bed/linens were comfortable. Daily cleaning service was exceptional. Having access to laundry was very convenient. Located close to several MRT stations.

Hello. I am a current guest at the Amba Taipei Zhongshan. This is my first time staying at an Amba property and it could not be better. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere are fantastic. Their restaurant, Buttermilk, is really nice and very popular with the locals. Mud, their speakeasy bar, is remarkable. The location is also really nice. In the heart of Zhongshan, it is a short distance to almost anywhere in the city. It is also close to MRT stations. Finally, I really appreciate having a separate toilet and (large) walk-in shower. I would like to personally thank both Shawn and Neil from the front desk. With this being my first time in Taipei and Taiwan, I had a number of questions. Shown and Neil were very knowledgeable, very helpful and very patient. Thank you Shawn and Neil. I highly recommend the Amba Taipei Zhongshan.

This hotel is boutique, minimalist, equipped with a great staff and close to MRT. I reserved the king room with balcony and pleasantly surprised at the room size and amenities, including large modern shower and Toto toilet seats. Breakfast buffet is large with diverse options. If staying in Zhongshan, don’t overlook this reasonably priced gem. Thank you Shawn and the rest of the team for a great experience.

Hotel is located in Zhongshan North Road which is a nice area to wander around and also near the shopping area. It takes around 10 min to walk to either Zhongshan or Xiuanglian metro station. There is a bus stop around a 3-min walk from the hotel. Room is spacious for solo traveller and luminous. Just the lift and sitting room outside guest rooms are not luminous enough.
