I forgot to bring my glasses and headset when checking out and they are gladly to deliver the stuff back to me. The location is also strategic. You can have a variety of food as there are a lot of restaurant from the small to the big one around the hotel.

Well the room was ok there was nothing special. The service is okay and the lobby was not very maintained. Also the surrounding building is not in very good condition. But if you are in a budget this place is good and the location is perfect.

Stay there for one night. This hotel not so clean. Rooms wall was dirty and not well maintained. One great thing is the pool, but it just only kids pool. Service and the other thing just average. I just gave three star for an average hotel.

It's an ok hotel in my opinion. The bed was comfy (but not its pillow), the hot shower works, the aircon was cold, the breakfast was tasty, there is an in-room safe deposit box as well, and it's located perfectly around good cafes and restaurants, which I believe becoming the factor of why it's slightly expensive for a compact size room (if not to mentioned a small size). Its parking lot was limited. It has a kid's pool near the restaurant. The restaurant it self quite small, can occupied around 30 guests only during the breakfast. The breakfast option was also limited, but its taste was good. They had 1 small elevator that can be occupied up to 8 persons, an the rest may climb up to the 3rd floor by the stairway. There was also small flat screen TV with (maybe around) 14" size and broadcast international channels.

I particularly chose Amaris Cimanuk because of its location, in a leafy area of Bandung just a few steps from the stately Gedung Sate. On Sunday morning the surrounding streets are very nice for walking or a light jog, although the nearby park (Taman Lansia) often gets congested by street hawkers selling various clothing and food. The hotel staff are polite and helpful, and the room price comes with a quite decent breakfast. Facility-wise, there's not much, being a 3-star hotel, but at least there's wifi and enough parking space for those bringing their own cars. There's also a kids' swimming pool, awkwardly located just next to the reception desk. Often, the floor around it gets wet and slippery, which is not a nice look when you enter the hotel. Perhaps better change it to a decorative pool only. The rooms seem old and could do with some improvements. There are some features that serve no function except collecting dust (and dusty they were). The bathroom has this cheap plastic curtain on the shower/bathtub. The TV has no remote (or it was hidden somewhere) although I wasn't that interested to watch it as only local stations were available. Fortunately, the bed was clean and comfortable enough. For me it's OK to stay here for 1 night, especially if you're going to spend most of your time sightseeing/shopping around Bandung. But the hotel competition here is very tense, and even with the economic price, Amaris Cimanuk should consider upgrading its look and/or offering better facilities.
