Amara Hotel Singapore has always been one of our favorite places to stay, but our most recent visit exceeded all expectations. The rooms have been newly renovated, and they're not only spacious but also stylishly designed, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. While the rooms are fantastic, what sets Amara Hotel apart is the extraordinary staff. They are warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help—a breath of fresh air compared to the usual Singaporean hospitality. One staff member who made our stay extra special was Raymond from the bell desk. He went above and beyond to engage with our three toddlers (ages 5, 4, and 2). Each morning, while we waited for our ride, Raymond took the time to play with the kids, keeping them entertained with games and surprises. It wasn't just a quick interaction; he genuinely spent quality time with them, and they loved every minute of it. It’s rare to find someone so attentive and caring, and we appreciated his efforts. The kids looked forward to seeing him every day, and his cheerful presence made our mornings much brighter. And let's not forget, he has some cool glasses too! This was our fourth time at Amara Hotel, but it was by far the best thanks to Raymond and the rest of the amazing staff. If you're looking for a hotel in Singapore with not only beautiful rooms but also a team that truly cares, Amara Hotel is the place to be. Thank you, Raymond, for being such a star, and thank you to everyone at Amara for making our stay so memorable. We can't wait to return!

We booked to stay at Amara for our 20th wedding anniversary and it was the best decision we made! Being our first time to Singapore, we didn't know what to expect, but by all accounts, the Amara Singapore hotel looked beautiful, had great reviews, and the location was perfectly central, which is why we chose it. We arrived late on a Saturday night, and the staff greeted us warmly and immediately made us feel welcome. Mary-Anne and Looi on the desk already knew our names and had everything ready for us to get to our room quickly without any hassle. Our room on level 6 was a wonderful space, clean, comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The air conditioning was perfect for the humid Singapore weather. Each day we left to head out, we were greeted by the staff just as warmly as we were welcomed when we first arrived. It was the same when we returned each night. A few days into our stay, and on the day of our anniversary, we headed out as usual and met Sunny, Front Office Manager, and his team on the way. Sunny, after learning that it was the day of our anniversary, without hesitation, asked us if we wanted to change rooms and to our absolute surprise he upgraded us to one of the Club Rooms on the 18th floor - the top floor! On top of that, Sunny arranged for a special anniversary lunch in the restaurant. We had their signature chicken curry and CEO laksa. What an absolute treat! The food was exceptional and bursting with flavours with the perfect amount of heat. Once we had lunch, we were given the keys to our new room, and we were absolutely blown away. The Club Room is spacious and well appointed with more than you need and expect. The modern lines and tones of the room give you a sense of luxury the minute you walk in. There is a full sized bath which is perfect at the end of a long day of walking around Downtown. The Club room also gives you exclusive privileges with access to the Club Lounge (currently under renovation, so we received complimentary daily breakfast and cocktail hour), late check out, and a daily replenished complimentary mini bar. Judy, Assistant Communications Manager, also arranged for a lovely cake and card to be delivered to our new room shortly after we arrived, which was the perfect touch to add to our new digs. Sunny and his team ensured we had everything we needed, and nothing was ever too much trouble. He went above and beyond and even treated us to some lovely Madelines from the bakery next door, Henri Charpentier - they were delicious! Breakfast was a great start to the day, and it meant that we often didn't have to eat until dinner time. On offer are all the traditional breakfast items as well as amazing local food - the best of both worlds. Thanks, Dalland, Assistant Director of F&B, for organising the freshly squeezed orange juice on those mornings. While we were there, we treated ourselves to the Amara High Tea, which was absolutely fabulous. The petits were a mix of western and local food, with a beautiful Asian-inspired twist. The laksa was a wonderful addition. Accompanying our high tea was some non-alcoholic sparkling which we are so appreciative of because we do not drink. Thank you for remembering! On our final day, a limousine taxi was arranged for us, and ready and waiting when we went downstairs to check out. Looi, Siti, and Vionna greeted us and ushered us to the waiting limousine and farewelled us. What an absolutely perfect ending to our trip! Although we felt spoilt and undeserving of all this attention, what made our time at the Amara Singapore so amazing was the team. We have travelled to many places and countries, but we have never experienced the kindness and genuine care that we received from the team at Amara. A massive thank you to Sunny, Judy, Dalland, Mary-Anne, Looi, Leslie, Oonah, Vionna, and Siti. Also, thank you to Joanna and Alvin in the restaurant who were always so courteous and kind to us. Thank you for always greeting us with warm smiles, thank you for checking in constantly to see if we needed anything, thank you for your recommendations to local spots (Leslie - we went to Buko Nero!), thank you for the laughs, thank you for getting us bottles of water when we would arrive back hot and sweaty from the Singapore heat (thanks Judy!), thank you for your attention to detail and remembering things like us not drinking- its the small things that make the difference. Thank you for celebrating our anniversary with us. We had so many staff members wish us a happy anniversary as we walked through the hotel. It doesn't cost a thing to be kind, and it leaves a lasting memory. We will never forget our 20th wedding anniversary because of you all, and truly feel like we have made friendships, and that we were not just a number. Amara is our preferred place to stay any time we come to Singapore, and we would not hesitate to recommend staying here. Let Sunny, Judy, and the team take care of you!
