Great hotel with comfortable, spacious rooms & bathrooms. Very nice free breakfast in a beautiful setting. Location is safe & convenient. Excellent & professional service. Walking distance to parks, restaurants & sights. Highly recommend staying here.

Albany House is well located right between two stops on Dublin's effecient LUAS tram and a few minutes walk from St Steven's Green park and Grafton Street for shopping and restaurants. Temple Bar is perhaps a 15 minute walk, though we found the LUAS a great way to get there, as well as to the heart of downtown. The hotel is an old school sort of place, occupying a Georgian-style building and very comfortable but unfortunately no lifts or elevators. Rooms are very modern however, with udated bathrooms (with a good shower) and abundant electrical outlets (which included USB outlets - yay!) throughout the room including near the beds. The built-in desk was large enough to be useful and the room, a two-bed double, was spacious enough for two of us. We where there on a Saturday night in August and could barely hear a bit of noise from the nightclub across the street, which did not disturb our sleep in the least, even though we slept with the windows open. Breakfast was abundant and fresh, with very friendly staff who provided coffee and tea as well as toast, though no hot breakfast beyond that. Front desk staff was also friendly and helpful. We would gladly stay there again.

Lovely Georgian hotel situated very close to the tram pickups and St Stephens Park - about a 6 minute walk. We would recommend visiting this beautiful park. You can pick up Hop on Hop off Buses about 10 minute walk away in front of St Stephens Park main entrance. Hotel was about a 12 minute easy flat walk to restaurants etc The staff were very friendly on arrival and we had requested a room on the first floor as I was travelling with my 84 year old dad and suitcases for a 4 week trip. They accommodated us and we were very grateful. Rooms were good and twin beds very comfortable. Not sure what some people expect for a breakfast but we were very satisfied and looked after - everything you could want for a large continental breakfast with fresh local bread and cheeses and cereals, fruits etc. Lots to choose from. We certainly did not go hungry. Would definitely stay again in Dublin - loved our visit :-)

The location is very good - near a tram station and in walking distance to many attractions. Breakfast was good and diverse, breakfast staff was very hearty, ready to help. room was nice, with a lot of light. The hotel does not have an elevator - you have to drag your luggage 4 floors (by stairs). The shower is very basic - it is recommended to improve the shower head. Rooms has no safe and no air conditioning - when the window is open - it is very noisy. especially if there is an event in the near Gardens. Reception staff was mixed - some of them were polite and others were nice and ready to help.

Our room was at the back of the hotel, so it was very quiet. The room was spacious and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfasts. People at the front desk were extremely helpful. Great location near St. Stephen's Green. Would stay here again.
