Really we enjoyed lot, because of the caring and hospitality. The coffee seeds, other many kind of fruits and vegetables we had got from their farm, and we used with our food. Nostalgic feelings... Nice atmosphere.

We planned cousins get together trip to Waynad & Aashwas Homestay gave us very good memories. Away from city & noises! It gave us the liberty to enjoy amidst nature. It is surrounded by coffee plantation & I would advise you for nature walks around Homestay. There is Banasur Sagar Dam & few beautiful waterfalls around the Homestay(of course, short drive distance) We got fantastic hospitality by the hosts, they not only arranged for appropriate rooms for our big gang but also cooked delicious food. Breakfast included varieties of Dosa, Idly, Semiya etc with authentic Chutney & Sambar. Dinner includes Kerala speciality dishes, Chapatis, Manchurian, Rice, yummy Sambar etc. Menu changes for each day of our stay. Lunch provided only on request. We spent nights on the open area next to camp fire & music(personal arrangements) Hosts were helpful in arranging for a huge campfire & it added a spark to our trip. Set your expectation right as it's an ancestral property converted into a beautiful Homestay :) Be careful about the route you take. Google isn't of great help in Kerala, specially to Aashwas. Nice experience.Hospitality is good. The Ambiance of the resort is excellent and rooms are well maintained. location & amenities are comfortable. Food and Hospitality is the best.Th view from my room was really good.

Mr. Rajan, the proprietor of the home stay is very caring and warm. He ensures that the guest are well looked after. The property is amidst vast area of plantation owned by him. The rooms are clean with homely comforts. There is a resident family who look after the guests very well. Food ( only veg) was fabulous. We requested for typical Kerala special dishes and they were simply awesome. You must have a vehicle with you since the property is 7 kms away from Kalpetta which is a bustling place.

A simple home stay managed in an ancestral home. We had a good time there and so did the kids. The home-cooked food and the helpful staff & friendly host makes this a special stay over. The walk into the plantation area and the nearby village roads was fun. This is also very conveniently located to the Barapuzha Dam and the Edakkal Caves.
