Please ensure you get the room key after check in otherwise they will demand refund for it. I visited in October Aziz palace at check out they demand for room key which they have not given, they check our bags & demand money for making duplicate key

There is no option to give -ve, hence 1 star. These houseboats requires major revamp, looks very old. From the time I stepped in, everything feels wet and dirty. Tiny cold room where bedsheets, blankets all feels cold, wet, used and dirty. Bathroom was horrible, half of the bathtub was occupied with something broken. Towels that were given feels not only dirty, they were way beyond end of their life. Food was average and the hot drinking water served during dinner/ breakfast was yellowish in colour!! Every houseboat stuff will look for tips from you.

Overall experience is very disappointing,rooms ok,but bedsheets, blankets,carpet all quiet dirty . Toilets lack hygiene, yellow water in tap makes it to use only on need to basis.Food very basic and average,only plus point is polite staff. Would recommend that stay in hotel one afternoon can come and have a meal in houseboat.

Do not misguided by pics posted here. Very basic room facilities, Only 2 items in Breakfast. Caretaker Das is very nice person withlot of stories to tell and always ready to serve. Owner of houseboat is also very helpful person. This houseboat is linked with road from backside. And there are number of vegetarian hotels with in 300 mtrs & non veg hotels are also within 1 km. Ok for one night only.
