We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Our main highlight was meeting Shivraj , he was amazing and made our stay much better. The service has been exceptional, he certainly made the stay much better. I recommend to anyone in the ranthambore area to stay while doing the tiger safari!!!!!

We travelled with 4 family and booked 4 rooms in the hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. And size of the room is also good. Gardens are lush green. Pool is amazing and clean. Owner Mr Yash personally took very good care of us during the stay. Strongly recommend to travellars who are coming to Ranthambore

Yash villas hotel is one of the most homely hotel in swai madhopur. We enjoyed a lot in pool. Rooms were very specious and clean, staff was also good and food was so tasty. It is near to railway station😋

Ever since I had told my parents about the beauty of Ranthambhore, they had been keen on visiting the place. So during Christmas 2021, we decided to drive down there for the weekend. I looked up hotels on google, and found this place. The reviews on TripAdvisor were quite encouraging, and thus I decided to book here. I called up the number available on Google, as I prefer booking directly with the hotel. And that is where the red flags started coming up. When asked for the tariff for triple occupancy, breakfast and dinner included, the gentleman didn't give me an exact quote. "Extra bed will be 500-700 rupees... Total tariff will be around 7000-7500 rupees..." This gentleman introduced himself as Mr. Yash, the owner of the property. And I started wondering why would the owner be unable to give me an exact rate, when I have given him the exact stay dates. Nonetheless, I chose to keep this behind me, considering that he might have to look up the final rate as the weekend would have been a high demand period. I quickly consulted with my parents, and called him up again to get the final rate so that we could confirm the booking. 24 hours and no response. Had to message him again. Got a call back stating that he had been busy and thus could not send the rate. (Red flag 2 - Customer has to follow up with the hotel). Being a hotelier myself, empathy clouded my judgment, and I took his reasoning at face value. A quick discussion on the phone where he pushed the cottage over the standard room, as the difference in rate would be just a couple of hundred rupees. During the same conversation i was informed that I would have to pay an advance to confirm my booking, which I immediately agreed to, as that is standard procedure. Hence, I asked him to share the final rate/night on whatsapp, along with the payment link/ bank details, so that i could go ahead and complete the payment. The rate i got, but also radio silence for the next 24 hours on the payment link front. This is when I start getting agitated, as I am wondering whether i'll get a room or not, because all whatsapp messages are being left at read. After multiple texts from my end, where I felt like a guy trying to woo a girl, did I get a call back From Mr. Yash. Again the reason that he's been busy, plus a bowlful of blame on me for not trusting him that the booking was confirmed (a confirmation which i had never received though, verbally or on text). This call was harsh from his end, where I was dealt with rudely, because Mr. Yash felt that I thought of him as "staff" while he was the owner. (Side note: All staff are humans, and I strongly feel it is unfair to treat someone based on their designation). Mr. Yash had to be reminded that I was the guest, the sole revenue generator of his institution, and thus was right in expecting an efficient response. Long story short, Mr. Yash stated that I no longer had to make the advance payment, and my room was confirmed. A bit later, I also asked him whether he can assist us with safari bookings, to which I got a clear cut NO (Surprising, considering that Ranthambore functions on just Safaris). Anyway, we set out for Ranthambore on 24th December, and reached the hotel by 6 pm in the evening. 2 odd rooms/cottages occupied in the entire hotel. We did our registration process, and when the time came to head to our cottage, we ended up being directed towards a standard room. Aghast, I asked Mr. Yash what was happening, as we had confirmed on a cottage. The reply that I got was downright upsetting. "I never confirmed a cottage, and I have all calls recorded on my phone." A clear lie, as my parents had also heard in on the call when we discussed the room category. And Mr. Yash wouldn't budge from his position. He would rather have an empty hotel, than give a cottage to a guest who's been trying to get a confirmed booking for one whole week. From my position, I was extremely embarrassed in from of my parents, as they had left it to me to get all the bookings done, considering that their son is a hotelier. So at 630 - 7 pm, we were left to ourselves, trying to get a room in a top tourist destination, on a sold out night. Mr. Yash and his team need to pull their act together, and I would strongly forewarn all travellers to stay away from this hotel, if they wish to avoid a sour experience on their holiday.
