Hotel Ashirwad, Chogum Road, Behind Holy Family Church, Alto Porvorim, Goa-40352 mention every where on online travel portals that they offer complimentary buffet breakfast which is.not true at all.. When you visit their hall adjacent to the reception you dont find any buffet arranged but are offered only small 2 potato vadas and 2 idlis + coffee or tea When you ask the receptionist or waiters they say that is the only things that they serve as buffet breakfast. If you ask for egg omelette and bread butter they say it is chargeable and the food is so expensive that you silently have to accept whatever they offer as complimentary (buffet) breakfast. Moreover if you happen to speak to their MD/CEO for complaint first of all he is so rude that he flatly says.that is what we offer complimentary and if you want to eat it or not is your wish and since you pay all the charges in advance as per their terms you have no other option but to have what they offer or forget it. Besides during my stay from 07.12.2017 to 08.12.2017.I got morning tea after 8.15am and when I tried to speak to the reception in the matter at around 8am there was no response from them.

Had stayed here in MAR-2017. Only plus point is location and main road. Staff was good . But experience at Breakfast time was nt great . One waiter coming and serving in instalment of orders for 20 people at Restaurant. Hope the hotel improves its breakfast menu..

The property is unhygienic. The rooms, the corridors, the linen, the bathroom, the towels everything is poorly maintained and no care on house keeping. The blankets were burnt with cigarette burns and dirty. The towels were age old and were dirty. However the staff is courteous and helpful. Also observed some activities of giving rooms for purposes not inclined to a family hotel. Overall experience was below satisfactory level

Staff is helpful.. the food of their restaurant is very good. The room size is good for 2 people but you can add an extra bed by telling them.. they have a terrace restaurant but unfortunately we cannot use it as we used to come late at night and leave early morning.
