My wife just loved the film with Scarlet Johansen and Bill Murray so we really wanted to visit the Skybar and soak in the atmosphere and we were not to be disappointed! It was electric with good food , drinks and a live band and on top of that ...the view!

The reception staff are efficient and extremely knowledgeable. The hotel is clean and spacious. The bathroom has a state of the art toilet but everything else is old fashioned and tired. The food in the Japanese restaurant was fabulous but the fruit option for breakfast was limited. 2 grapes a small piece of kiwi and a small piece of grapefruit is really not sufficient. A nice location with lots of safe walking areas.

It was great to return to the Park Hotel for my sixth stay in a queen-size Artist Room! I love these rooms featuring the skilful, interesting and attractive conceptual creations of different artists, and the hotel has a lot of other art on show as well, with permanent installations and temporary exhibitions. I was thrilled to find my favourite of the rooms I'd stayed in, Mizuguchi Kazuki's Castle Room, was available again. Superb work, and at night the castle tenshu (main keep) is reflected in the window in the position it would once have been at Edo Castle (now the Imperial Palace). (Other buildings are also reflected in the window.) The artist stated he was interested in reality, illusion and transience. The rooms are not huge, but well-designed and comfortable with window seats to take advantage of what are always excellent Tokyo city views (from some rooms you can see Mt Fuji), including in this case busy Shimbashi Station so you can watch the trains (including Shinkansen) coming and going. They have nice bathrooms with lovely toiletries, some complementary. Housekeeping is good. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The Shimbashi/Shiodome location is very convenient for all types of train travel, being close to both Shimbashi and Shiodome Stations. There are heaps of shops and eateries in the immediate vicinty, and it is not far to the waterfront. Two beautiful historic gardens are also nearby - Hamarikyu and Kyu-Shiba-Rikyu.

This is a well located and comfortable hotel, if a little soulless. I wanted to single out the concierge K who went above and beyond to sort out some things for our itinerary that we would have struggled for sort ourselves. Thanks again from the Kelly family.

Nice hotel with good views but the room was quite small and the bathroom was particularly small and tired. The breakfast was okay - pick the Japanese version if you want more fruit. The reception staff were lovely and the hotel is handy for train station access.
