Beautiful corner room - lovely decor and good pillow selection. Very nice hotel, the staff were friendly although i did have to ask for the resort charge to be applied to our dining. Location is right beside the CTA entry exit for green line so was perfect for us and only one block walk to Blue line for airport. Rooftop happy hour was fun - recommend booking as it got busy. One block to river so is nicely situated. Downtown is noisy so be prepared for sirens and trains but it didn’t disturb our sleep. Only thing that did that is the closing of door for room next door - they are very heavy and consequently crash shut. Five stars - probably wouldn’t stay again as didn’t feel it was value for money but we enjoyed it nevertheless.

Everything was great at The Wit. We have two wonderful rooms near one another and each was larger than the average Chicago hotel room. It is in a fabulous location- near the Chicago Theatre, near the river, close to Michigan Avenue, and yet not an area that is overly congested. We had Breakfast in the Restaurant and had excellent service. A shout-out to Mario who was a great salesman to get us into the Restaurant and also was very pleasant, welcoming, and gracious while we were there. I would stay here again!

Stopped by to have some after dinner drinks with my wife and now we want to come back for dinner. From the hostess to the server and the manager (Mario) who stopped to say hi. It was a great experience. Place is nice and we shall come back to have the full experience.

It was a lovely time! We were greeted by the lovely host, Karen and the bartenders Kevin and Miguel were amazing! I highly recommend coming because the food and drinks as well as the hospitality were beyond amazing. Highly recommend the burger on the menu!

My friends and I arrived midafternoon to start the next night of our bar tour. The staff warmly welcomed us to the bar for our hour of time at the Wit. We had a great time speaking with Karen and the rest of the staff about our plan. We will certainly be back for future events. Great beer selection as well!
