We had a room that had a Riverview on a high level. Nice central location very close the the shopping areas. There's the botanical gardens just down the road which are beautiful. The rooms are set up like apartments and we could buy local fruits and have them in the room. The receptionist was lovely and helped with our questions.

I have seen and know multiple men to meet escorts and prostitutes in this apartment, married and single. if you want a family stay please avoid or are concerned about your partner. all women deserve to work regardless of the type no judgement but if your insecure or have children you don't want to have uncomfortable conversations with, then avoid

Whilst this apartment was comfortable and good location, Waiting for lift spoiled mine and approximately 20 other colleagues, 2 nights stay. One of the lifts is out of order so during peak times you need to lineup for the lift which took excessive amounts of time. It was ridiculous. You also need to swipe your card to get the lift. If the lift is full and many people waiting, the electronic swipe won’t recognise you want the lift and you have to continuously swipe until it registers the floor you want to go to. Do not stay here until they have had their second B tower lift replaced. Apparently it has been at least 6 months using one lift. What a nightmare for the residents. If we had have been on lower floors we could have used the stairs but being on floors 20 and higher, makes it difficult. The apartments are a great size and comfortable, with kitchen & laundry. Comfy bed too! Not all apartments, have a park or Riverview, so don’t be fooled by their advert. My view was looking over the roof of another high-rise and a whole heap of other buildings. If you aren’t in a hurry and happy to wait for lifts this is a good location, with plenty of Restaurants and a short walk to Queen Street mall.

Reception not near entrance and had difficulty finding. No where to park for reception. High charge for daily parking. Steps in car parking to lift made luggage difficult. Use of lift very frustrating.

I had arranged for a friend of mine to have 4 nights at iStay River City Brisbane as my guest through RCI timeshare. On arrival he was told that the Guest Certificate he had would not be honoured unless confirmed by RCI. After much ado he finally convinced the Manager to call RCI. After almost an hour on the phone to RCI he relented but only after he made RCI send him an email confirming that they would honour the booking. So not only was the hotel management exceedingly poor but RCI was very slow in fixing the problem. To make matters worse the hotel itself was well below the standard expected, with furniture "you wouldn't give to the Salvos", no facilities at all, no restaurant, a pool you wouldn't let your dog in, no room cleaning until after checkout which was obvious by the state of the room and only one lift, the other being out of order for months. The only good thing about this hotel is its location in the centre of Brisbane but even this is not enough to make up for the poor condition of the rooms. RCI should NOT have this as one of its properties.
