A cozy and quiet place to stay

The B&B is really very nice. It's a few minutes' walk from Piazza San Pietro. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. There are a lot af cafes and restaurants nearby. The room was cozy and clean. The shared kitchen was well equipped. Marco is a wonderful host: very polite and attentive. Every morning he brought a croissant for breakfast. There was also a complimentary buffet and drinks.

Really friendly owner showed us around. Lovely apartment - there was the green apartment and the Orange apartment - we were in the green apartment. One of the cupboards opened up to become a small kitchen. There was plenty of food and drink in the cupboard and fridge. The location was fantastic -only a really short walk to the Vatican. We would recommend this apartment wholeheartedly. The lift in the building only stopped working once and was very quickly fixed. The only detrimental thing we can say is that the curtains were very thin - like voile and so we're very see through when dark and let in the light in the morning. We would definitely book this apartment again when we next go to Rome and have already recommended it to friends who were visiting Rome.

Lovely owner. Easy to book. And most importantly clean, modern well appointed rooms. AND Comfortable bed yipee!! Fantastic location! Two minutes walk to the Vatican and the hop on/off bus. Has free wifi also. Will definately be back on our next trip to Roma.

My friend and I found this B&B so good, we would much rather keep it our little secret! But we had a great stay at Sampietrino and we owe it to Marco. The B&B is a stone's throw away from the Vatican and an easy walk away from most of the places you may want to visit. Bus stops and train/metro stations are also 2 to 3 minutes away. There were 3 rooms at the B&B. We were given the room Uno (colour coded green). The room and bathroom were very clean and remained that way throughout our stay. The furniture/furnishings (bed, side tables, study table, chair, single sofa, mirror) were chic and simple and we loved that. The room had bay windows with beautiful white curtains - the view was charming but not spectacular - it did not matter to us though. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was a simple, efficient affair. It's all out there in the kitchen - neatly organized in boxes labelled with the room number. Even the table mats are colour coded! Marco was so organized that there were no hitches whatsoever during our stay. He was also very warm and resourceful. After we checked in, we hardly ever saw him - unless we needed help (how do we get from here to there and so on). In which case he'd be out of his room, helping us in no time. We were two girls on our first trip to Rome. And we felt very safe at the B&B. The roads around and leading to Sampietrino are wide/main roads. And the B&B itself felt like a very safe place. We're glad we chose B&B Sampietrino and are more than happy to recommend it. Please remember to draw cash for the check-in though - card payment is not an option. P.S: There are a good number of small outdoor restaurants, 2 minutes away from the B&B. You can enjoy a glass of wine, a plate of creamy Ravioli and music played by two merry men who walk from restaurant to restaurant at dinner time. Fabulous!

Geweldige plek. Ik schrijf nu overal een uitstekende review omdat Expedia een fout heeft gemaakt en mijn uitstekende review verwisseld heeft met iemand anders. Deze plek is echt super en de gastheer( Marco) doet alles voor je om je een goed verblijf te geven. Bedden uitstekend. Schoon. En de keuken die je mag gevruiken gedurende de dag is top. Alles is op loopafstand. Advies. Vraag of Marco een taxi regelt die je ophaalt vam hrt vliegveld. Je betaald iets meer maar er is dan totaal geen stress.
