This is NOT a 4 star hotel. A fair rating would be 2 star. Remote location for Vienna sites. Reception staff not very helpful. Uncomfortable beds/bedding. I would not recommend staying at this location. Not sure where the “Palis” is or where the pictures from website are from. The bar/lounge that they have pictured isn’t even open,

My partner and I stayed here for two nights in April. Overall, a decent hotel and ideal for a weekend away. Pros: Quite location. Helpful, friendly staff. Clean room with the expected amenities (kettle, coffee/tea, hairdryer, safe). Powerful and hot shower. Easy check in and check out. Complimentary baggage storage. 20 minute walk to the centre. Cons: Slightly dated decor, could do with modernisation. Has a garden and roof terrace, but these aren’t worth a visit. Nothing there except a couple of chairs to sit on! Some potted plants/trees and benches would have made this more appealing.

basic hotel Clean 20 minutes from centre. Rooms really hot no facility to turn temperature down. The bar was closed not sure if staff issues After long time out would have been nice to get a hot drink and snack. we bought tea bags and milk as only 2 fruit tea sachets in room. Breakfast was included and okay but limited choice. I wouldn't stay here again. ok for somewhere to sleep but not an experience hotel.

Good location can walk to center in 20 mins or Bus and tram nearby 5 mins walk. Opposite a park and palace. Rooms pretty old but beds comfy and shower hot. Had to ask to fix air con unit as just blow warm air but was fixed same day. Top floor you have Velux sloping windows and a sloping ceiling so beware if tall may bash head I did several times, also fire exit runs along the windows so at night closed for security. Breakfast good and lots of tea selection but same every day, a bit of variety would be nice. Very clean, although did not seem they hovered my carpet. A bit odd small reception area. Bar opened some nights but folk seemed to go out. Nice garden leading to old Paialis conference centre.

Old but extremely well preserved and clean hotel ! The staff was very helpful and polite and always willing to provide assistance. The rooms were big enough and very clean.Very clean , safe and convenient neighbourhood close to the tram and many restaurants and cafes/ bistros. For the price and the 4 stars category it was amongst the best in Vienna !
