We had a great weekend stay here! Room was spacious, beautiful views, and very comfortable beds. Everything was very clean. Front desk staff was very friendly and housekeeping was prompt if we needed anything. The kids loved the indoor pool. It was a chilly weekend and the pool was heated very nicely. Special thanks to Leo, Hussain, and managers Patrick and Nicole. We will definitely stay here again.

This hotel has a great location, and the rooms are spacious. I asked for a room with a view, and the clerk told me I did not pay enough. So I got a room by the elevator on the fifth floor overlooking a giant, commercial air-conditioning vent and a neighboring apartment building. I would at least like to have had some kind of view. The hotel did not appear full and rooms were available for my one-night stay. My shower had a smile pile of hair in it, that did not belong to me. Some staff members were outstanding. If you have the chance, say hello to William. He is one of the best bell captains, no, really the best hotel employee, I have ever met. FANTASTIC MAN, who had great recommendations, and he cared about my stay. He should be running this hotel.

This hotel was a disappointment for many reasons. At did self check in but I went to the front desk for keys since I sometimes have trouble with the app. The woman made the Keys and handed them to me. No recognition of Diamond Status, no overview of amenities and no water. I had to ask and she gave me water and a printout discussing the amenities. I was disappointed to learn the restaurant and bar were closed even though it’s not mentioned on the website, there was no room service and no executive lounge. They did serve a buffet breakfast so at least there was some way to use the diamond meal credit. The room was a nice space with a sitting room and seperate bedroom. However the furniture in the sitting room was old and terribly uncomfortable. I’ve never seen such a worn, uncomfortable couch in a hotel room. The bed was softer than most Hilton beds, but it was ok. There was also a loud noise coming from the plumbing intermittently. I noticed I had received a text from the hotel saying they hope my room is comfortable. It came from an Alejandra who I doubt even exists. I replied that the plumbing noise was annoying and can they look at it. I never heard back. Fortunately whatever was causing the loud noise went away. A few days later toward the end of my stay I got another text from “Alejandra” asking to rate my stay between 1-5. I responded with a 2 and immediately received a text that they were sorry and could they call me to talk. I replied yes. I’m still waiting for the call. On the plus side, our room had a nice partial lake view, the location is very good, the breakfast staff was nice and housekeeping did a nice job. It’s nice to have the two small rooms with a separate sitting area. The bathroom was spacious and clean. There were robes and slippers in the room which are a nice touch. I would not stay at this hotel again until they make an investment in the rooms and offer amenities you expect from a Hilton branded property. Also, before you respond to this review, I suggest you go to room 2514 and sit on the couch. Also stop texting people if you aren’t going to respond to the texts.

Average hotel near the Michigan Ave. Great location and near the shopping, etc., we typically prefer the end this hotel is on. Staff were very accommodating and polite. Morning breakfast is a buffet and leaves a little to be desired. There’s a Wildberry nearby that would be a better option. All in all it’s a decent option with no complaints however not one of the better Hilton options we have stayed in.

As expected, excellent location and good family "suite" layout. Interiors are threadbare, bath fixtures are rusting and/or loose and shower stalls are so old that grime can no longer be cleaned. Staff is great. The property is like many others in foreclosure so hopefully new ownership will invest again in this location.
