My mom and I had an amazing kick off start to our mother/daughter 2 week adventure and it started here at Casa Montani. It is perfectly located in a beautiful old building, the elevator Is fantastic and works better than things in the US! Andreas, the manager gave us perfect instructions to check in and enter the rooms etc. He made our trip so fun and told us exactly what to do and see and when to get a guide to take you around. The area has amazing food and cafes all around and if you cross the street to Piazza del Popolo you have world class shopping and food for miles! The room and bedding is so comfortable, we had the best stay! Andreas, thank you again for the extra blanket and all you did for my mom and I-Charity and Vonnie

Our favorite stay in Italy! Andrea was so welcoming and helpful. I truly can’t say enough things about how amazing he was. He helped us navigate the maps and educated us on everything we needed to know. The hotel communicates with you through what’s app when you have questions too and even booked us transportation to the train station. They were so kind and helpful and we really enjoyed our cozy room.

This is the third time we have visited Rome and twice before we have stayed in five star hotels close to the Spanish steps. I almost rebooked a hotel we had stayed in before but then came across Casa Montani and just loved the look of it. It was also a quarter of the cost. We were travelling as a couple, with our daughter and her cousin so had two separate rooms. Both rooms were wonderful. Not very big but tastefully decorated, they had everything we needed and most importantly for me; a very comfortable bed, excellent pillows and quality linen. All four of us slept amazingly well and I don’t normally when I stay away from home. The shower was great and the luxury toiletries were a lovely surprise. The rooms were also spotlessly clean and maintained to that standard throughout our stay. Breakfast was fantastic. We throughly enjoyed having it wheeled into the room and eating it in bed every morning instead of having to trail down to a restaurant. This is the part I wasn’t sure about and it ended up being our favourite bit! We have just got home and I will definitely miss this in the morning! Ha ha. Coffee was fantastic and fresh, lovely seasonal fruit and flaky, buttery croissants etc. All the staff were fantastic, helpful and professional. The building is fantastic and the location is perfect. Local transport is literally on the doorstep and you are over the road from Piazza Del Popolo and then into the rest of the attractions after a lovely walk. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough and can’t understand why it’s only 3 stars when it is so much better than the two 5 star hotels we stayed in previously. I just wish we’d have booked early enough to try the suite. Definitely next time. Thanks for an amazing experience xx

Excellent location. Really easy to find your way back to the hotel. Situated at the oldest gates of Rome we had one of the best meals heading away from the tourist attraction. We saw everything as our first night in Rome we stayed up the other end. Quick trip in Rome was able to do everything in 2 days. Staff and breakfast was great. Old lift is interesting as well as the entry with key from phone.l which I have not experienced before.
