When we had to leave wedding and not spend the night as my husband forgot his meds at home, the hotel graciously let us check out at no cost. A waiter helped us get onto a service elevator that didn't require stairs with my husband's mobility issues. Everyone took pride in working at the Parker House--an old fashioned work ethic prevailed!

The Omni Parker House is the perfect home base for exploring everything Boston has to offer. It is a beautiful hotel situated in the heart of the town with exceptionally friendly people. The room was not large but it was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.

They don't tell you about accommodation fees until the day of your check-out, so be aware. Additionally, their customer service is not so polite. I would prefer to stay at the Hilton or Marriot. But the location of the hotel was good.

This hotel is in an excellent location in downtown Boston. We were within about 45 minute walking distance to Fenway where we took in a game, and quick walking distance to downtown attractions. We took a cab from the airport to get to the hotel, and the subway to get back. The station is only a block or 2 away from the hotel, and we’d recommend over a cab. The lobby is lovely, the staff is helpful, and the rooms are pretty basic but clean and nice.

I made a reservation for a business trip using my personal credit card just to hold the reservation. I cancelled the room over a month prior to my trip only to find I was charged the full price for a room for the first night. I called Jennifer in billing and she stated there was nothing they could do as they had no record of my cancellation, $327 for a room I did not use! I am disputing the charge with my credit card company. I can't speak for a hotel I didn't visit but would caution anyone reading this to make certain you receive a confirmation regarding any correspondence with them and maintain these records. I was disappointed on the customer service with regards to this issue and would recommend considering another hotel option in light of this experience.
