The place is not really a hotel, just some rooms without any service, entering through a communal apartment block entrance. The room itself was fine and clean but not luxurious at all. The whole process of checking in and getting the room is long winded and complicated, carried out via long written instructions by extremely rude staff over whatsapp. The threatening tone of the communication is unbelievable. No one deserves this kind of treatment when in Rome. Choose somewhere better!

The place is definitely not easy to find for tourists. So I would definitely recommend getting the pickup from airport. The rooms are actually part of a shared compound. There is a small lift that you can use to move your luggage. But there will be one flight of stairs before you can access the lift. Once you find the entrance, there is a small reception area. The rooms are small but fully equipped. You will also be provided with bottle of drinking water for free. Wifi in the room is free and works well. No need for re login. There are ample restaurants that are just within short walk away. The Vatican City is also very nearby. Even though you can walk to the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain area, I would recommend using the Metro. There is a Metro station about 4 minutes walk away. And the Termini station is along the same line.

The room was clean, cozy and nice. Location is perfect, rather quiet, still you can get to Vatican on foot. Staff was friendly. I really liked their private jungle downstairs, banana trees and other plants. There are only 3 rooms available at this location. We are happy we could book this property, very good for its price.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Al 7 Small Luxury Rooms for 3 nights and it was the perfect base for exploring the amazing city of Rome! We arrived earlier than check in time but we greeted by a friendly member of staff who showed us our room and let us drop off our bags. The room itself was spotlessly clean with big, comfortable bed and a lovely modern bathroom was modern. My only tiny complaint was that the toilet was sometimes noisy after being flushed where the tank was refilling. The location was good - very close to the Vatican (about 5 minutes walk) and about half an hour from some of the other amazing sights (Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain). I would definitely stay here again!

The location is very good, is 5 min from metro station and there was a street 2 min from the hotel full of shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and everything was great..the only negative was that the room was exactly next to reception but not a big deal. I highly recommend it :)
