Underlining its commitment to offer superlative booking experiences, Cleartrip, the leading travel technology platform in emerging markets has launched ‘Flexifly’. The feature is designed to save travellers who need to change their travel schedule from the hefty charges associated with amending a flight booking. Flexifly is well-suited for both corporate travellers, who often have to end-up rescheduling their flights at a moment’s notice, as well as leisure travellers, who have made their booking in advance and later find themselves unable to fly on the specific dates.

The feature enables travellers to either switch to a different flight by the same airline or book a new flight through another airline for the same sector as per their requirements – all by just paying the difference in fare. Flexifly is available at a price of INR 149-299, depending on various criteria such as airline type, ticket price, and travel sector, among others.

Users can change their flight to an earlier date up to 10 days prior, or to a later date up to 60 days after the original date of journey. This flexibility is available up to two hours before the flight departure.

To begin with, Flexifly is only available for domestic flights.
