How do deposits work?
You can deposit money into our ICICI Bank account by cheque / DD / online transfer (cash not accepted). However, after depositing the money, please let us know the deposit details by filling up the form under “Record a deposit”. Filling up the form is essential otherwise we will never know which deposit account to credit.

IMPORTANT: Please fill up the deposit form in the deposit account after depositing the money, else your deposit account will NOT get credited.

When will the money be credited to my Cleartrip Deposit Account?
24 hours within the money hitting our account. We will send you an email as soon as we credit the money into your deposit account – no need to keep checking your account every now and then.

Online transfer normally 1 – 2 working days
Local cheque / DD normally 1 – 2 working days (Cheque / DD payable at Mumbai)
Outstation cheque / DD normally 3 – 7 working days

If I pay by Deposit Account, how long will it take for my account to be debited?
After a successful transaction, your account will get debited immediately.
I cancelled a booking which was made using ‘Pay by Net Banking’ option. How will I get my money back and when?
The account that you used for payment will get credited with the refund amount within 5–7 working days.
Is there any place that I can see my debits & credits to my deposit account?
Yes, you can go to our Account section & see the debits & credits under Deposit Account. You can also see the balance in your Deposit account.
Where can I get a receipt (invoice) for the deposits made?
All the receipts against cleared funds will be available online.
Will I get intimated if there is low balance in my deposit?
Yes, you can set alerts for low balance in your deposit account. We can either send alerts by SMS or by email or both. If you have already created your deposit account, then you can edit the details of your deposit account to set the alerts.
