The public transportation system of Jaisalmer primarily consists of auto-rickshaws and bicycles. Auto-rickshaws are most readily available and usually charge a nominal fare, which may or may not need bargaining. Bicycles are also available for hire on an hourly/daily basis and are good ways to travel if you are going sightseeing. Many roads may be congested, and these two modes are the best way to navigate them.
