Aarogya Setu app

  • Download and install Aarogya Setu app on your phone.
  • Register on the app and ensure that it shows Green status before your travel.
  • Children below 14 years of age are exempt from this requirement.
  • In case, passengers don’t have the app, they will need to sign a self-declaration form.

Web check-in and download boarding pass

  • All passengers are required to do the web check-in before entering the airport.
  • You may carry a printout or e-boarding pass.

Only ONE check-in baggage with label

  • Only one check-in bag per person is allowed.
  • Please print the baggage tag from your airline’s website and paste it on your baggage before departing
  • Or, write your PNR on a paper and tie it to your bag with a strong thread such that it is clearly visible.
  • Baggage should be dropped at least 60 minutes before departure.

Only ONE Hand baggage

  • Only one piece of hand baggage(weighing less than 7kg) per person is allowed.
  • Make sure your hand baggage measures less than 40cm x 30cm x 10cm.

Mask

  • Passengers without a mask will not be allowed to enter the airport.
  • Please wear a mask at all times during your journey.

COVID symptoms

  • Passengers with fever will most likely not be allowed to travel.
  • So, it’s better to do a temperature check before you leave for the airport.

Authorized vehicle to travel to the airport

  • Only authorized vehicles are allowed at the airports.
  • Ensure that you have an authorized vehicle or book an authorized taxi to travel to the airport.

Reach at least 2 hours prior

  • You need to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your departure.

Airport safety steps

At the airport, you will need to follow these steps to ensure safety.

Entering the terminal building

  • Wear your mask while entering the airport and arrive at the screening area.
  • Before entering the terminal building, your temperature will be checked.
  • On your turn, display your status on your Aarogya Setu app to the staff.
  • Then, move to the CISF counter at the entry checkpoint and show your identity card, the boarding pass/- e-boarding pass to the CISF staff.
  • At the baggage drop counter, display your PNR, ID to the staff, and PNR written on your check-in baggage.
  • The boarding pass will only be issued post passenger signs a self-declaration form about the passenger's health condition.

Security

  • Security staff will practice the 'minimum touch' concept to reduce physical contact with you.

Security Hold Area including Lounge, Prayer Room, Kids play area etc.

  • Proceed to the security hold area after security screening.
  • Do not use the chairs which are marked 'Not For Use'
  • While going around F&B, retail outlets, etc., maintain social distance, and use sanitizers available at different locations.
  • If you have any biohazardous material such as used masks, gloves, tissues etc., dispose off them in the yellow-colored disposable bins/bags.

Boarding

  • Collect the safety kit (three-layered surgical mask, face shield, and sanitizer) from your airline near the boarding gate.
  • On your turn, scan your boarding pass at the self-scanning facility and move to the boarding gate
  • Show your ID card to the airline staff at the boarding gate and board the aircraft sequentially as guided by the airport staff.
