'The famous Sandipani Ashram was once a prominent seat of learning where Lord Krishna, Balarama and Sudama studied under the revered Saint Sri Sandipani. Legend has it that, after the completion of their studies, Saint Sandipani requested Lord Krishna’s help to find his lost son. Along with Balarama, Lord Krishna went in search of Sandipanis son and found that a demon Shankhasur had kept the Saint’s son hostage in a conch. Lord Krishna then took Yama’s help to rescue the son and returned him to Sandipani. You can also see engraving of numerals made by Sandipani.'
