Due to the hilly terrain and forested areas, means of local transport are limited in Ramnagar. Bus services run by the government as well as private owners are available for traveling to major locations around the city, especially the Jim Corbett National Park. Jeeps and vehicles for the safari are available at the park. Most parts of the city can be covered on foot.
