'Dedicated to Ma Bhuvaneshwari, the Bhuvaneshwari Temple in Jamshedpur is one of the most important and visited of all the Shakti Peeths, in the state of Jharkhand. It was established in 1978 by spiritual leader, Swami Ranga Rajan Ji Maharaj, in the Bhuvangiri hills, at a height of about 360 ft above sea level. The architecture follows a style similar to many south Indian temples, with the main sanctum being 36 ft high and with a five-storied Rajagopuram. The main hall of the temple has eight pillars, with eight different forms of Goddes Lakshmi. It is a beautiful temple that you must visit when in Jamshedpur.'
