Reflecting the city’s dedication to this age-old art, Bhadohi houses a unique institute specializing in the craft of carpet weaving. The Indian Institute of Carpet Technology also imparts instructions on ways to expand the industry.

You can buy one of several types such as Dhurry, Loribaft, Chhapra Mir, Indo Gabbeh, and even Nepalese carpets. Named after the city, where the art has been practiced for centuries, Bhadohi carpets are hand woven.
