'One look at this monument and you will be immediately reminded of the marvelous Taj Mahal, far away from Aurangabad. The Bibi ka Maqbara, built by Prince Azam Shah is a magnificent replica of the Taj Mahal. This majestic structure was erected in 1679 in memory of the Begum Rabia Durani, Aurangzeb’s wife. The tomb is surrounded by a verdant lawn, adorned with numerous ponds, water channels and fountains. The white marble structure is accented with beautiful carvings and stucco textures. Enclosed within is the tomb itself on an elevated platform. Bibi ka Maqbara is among Aurangabad’s prime attractions, certainly not to be missed.'
