About the hotel
Against the backdrop of the glorious Dhauladhar range, The Bhagsu Hotel provides a comforting and home-like stay to tourists visiting Dharamshala. Surrounded by tall Deodar trees, the Bhagsu is the first hotel of McLeodganj started way back in 1979. The residence of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama and Namgyal Monastery are very close to this hotel.
The accommodation is divided into rooms and huts. Every room has a warm ambience and facilities such as clean beds, seating area, study table, dressing area, luggage rack, TV and a bath area with hot/cold water. Room heaters are provided at an extra cost.
The hotel has a picturesque lawn where guests may spend leisure time or dine. The in-house restaurant, with its 24-hour operational kitchen, serves a range of delicious Indian, Chinese and local Himachali varieties. You may enjoy your drink in the formal seating or out on the lawns.
The Bhagsu Hotel (HPTDC) accepts only cash payments at the property.
