We stayed for a day & found it to be a very clean & comfortable place. It is located close to the railway station at Guwahati, cycle rickshaw charged us
Rs 30 from the station.
The staff is courteous and helpful. Recommend staying here, I would think it deserves a higher ranking in TripAdvisor

I often visit d Prag Cont. for meals, and let me tell you that the food is awesome. It is a multicuisine resturaunt, specializes in Indian dishes. Do try the typical Indian dishes while at Prag. As for d hotel rooms, I have stayed once, that too for one night. The room was OK, bathroom was quite good. The thing I personally love about Prag is their staff, they are very friendly and makes you feel at home.

This hotel is located at Panbazar in Guwahati. Very near to good Colleges, the courts, some offices, railway station & markets. The check -in & check-out was smooth. I stayed at their Executive Room No. 205, for a night. The room was quite small, had a window AC with a non working AC remote. In this category of rooms they don't even provide tea/coffee maker, forget about mini-bar. In the toiletries section, only two tiny toilet soaps are provided, single use shampoo & a small tube of moisturizer. They don't even provide dental kit, no shaving kit. You can get hot water only in the morning for a limited time. In winters you have to wash your hand at night in cold freezing water. The quality of food is good but limited options, with no sweet dishes. The hotel premises is clean, they have a bar, and a salon cum spa.

It is with a sad heart that I write this review. I previously stayed at this hotel in December, 2013 and following my stay I gave it an
"Excellent" rating and review. I also said in my review that I would return to this hotel.
Well return I did and what a difference a couple of years makes. Apparently during this time there was a change of management and obviously not for the better.
I emailed the hotel on a couple of occasions to try and book accommodation but never received replies. I booked through an agent.
We stayed in the Presidential Suite for which the hotel were charging 5,000 rps. per night. Not a small sum by Indian standards. On entering the room we were unable to plug in the fridge as the under counter space for it did not have a wall socket. The room boy moved the fridge into the living area of the room and put it under the counter where the kettle was placed and used the socket there. We then had to boil the kettle next to the bed as the other two plug sockets in the living area did not work.
All good then with that sorted until the next day when we discovered that when the toilet was flushed, water came out from behind and to the side of the panelling. And when the water was running into the sink or the sink was emptied the water spilt onto the floor.
Over the next few days there were various attempts to rectify these problems with much prompting from us and asking to see the Manager. Various people came to the room claiming they were the "manager" which seemed very strange as we knew these people were clearly not. The toilet got fixed but the sink problem persisted by which time I had lost the will to live and put up with it.
It would have been nice to have relaxed at this hotel without the constant problems but that was not to be so. Finally on the evening before our departure my husband was invited to meet the Manager. Too little too late; by then all the damage had been done.
Whlst I can only give a "poor" overall rating I feel that I must mention that the Restaurant and staff were every bit as good as on my previous visit as was the bar and staff and the housekeeping.
Reception and the running of the place needs a serious look at before the place goes completely to the dogs.
I cannot bring myself to give the hotel more than an overall "poor" rating.

I checkedin hotel in evening & they allotted me a room where I found cockroach on the bed, then they changed my room where again I found ants on the bed.
At last I have taken that room as have no choice.
Most important that I found fungus on breads in breakfast, which I can't imagine. And they have only one juice in breakfast no other juice. Very limited items in Buffet.
If you love fungus & cockroaches & pineapple juice only then most welcome.
