I visited mount Abu last week and stayed at Palanpur palace. The room are airy and well maintained. We stayed in suite room. It gives me a feel of staying in a palace. The food is good and location is very nice. I recommend it for a superb mount Abu stay.

I had read and heard quite a very bad reviews of this hotel but after using this property I must say that its very nice place to stay and rooms are big enough and specially the food quality is very good. Just need the renovation in some rooms but apart from that everything is perfect. Special thanks to GM Dharmesh ji who gave his 100% to make our event successful and support us in every way. Thanks to his team as well. All the best to all of you.

Palanpur Palace is a heritage hotel, with extra large specious AC Super deluxe rooms, with amazing ambiance ,wonderful delicious food, v good hospitality and value for money tariff , without
getting a hole in your pocket . A Royal experience of stay we had, within budget. Few leisure activities like pool, slides are missing and still under process , to make the stay more fun , but overall a v nice experience. I would rate it 4 out of 5 and the probably one of the best property in Mount Abu.

I must say it was really pleasant experience. It is like a vintage hotel surrounded by small mountains, not very far from main market but far enough to be away
from noise of city and traffic. Service and food was good. Less option for booze :) but I guess that is how abu is. Like the manager Dharmesh, he was prompt in helping us. Also room service guys were nice. Our room was super deluxe which spacious, neat and clean. It only it had swimming pool in this weather it would have been nice. Less options for kids though, may be some swings or play area in garden would help.
Overall a good experience.

Stayed at this property for one night and was glad that it was one night only !
The name of Palanpur Place (the histroy of 75 years) prompted us to book it through a friend's contacts. We were all boys (15 pax) and had gone to Mt. Abu for boy's night out. We had taken 5 rooms (every room with one extra bed). Some rooms were extremely small to barely accommodate 3 and some were so large that aircon failed to control the heat.
The service was poor and the house keeping and room service boys were not at all trained. They would enter room without knocking, wash utensils in your bathroom sink while you are brushing !!!! (can anyone believe this ????) nobody in my group could....
The food was okay, will not call it bad, but was just okay. The next morning the breakfast was disaster, they were serving tea in paper cups, boiled egs would be served in 25 minutes, the bread and butter were just thrown on the table. The taste was fine but the attitude and service was pathetic.
We made sure to lodge our complaints to the manager on duty who was quiet and did not offer any apology as he knew it was routine for the hotel.
There is no pool in the hotel which is big minus and only plus which the hotel had was gardens and tall impressive building.
It was an experience which no one would like to repeat and I guess we managed it as we were all boys and were out on fun so such things did not matter to us.
The location is fine, not far away from the main attraction :Nakki Lake, one can walk to the place.
Overall, an experience worth forgetting.
