The hotel is located at the starting of the Mount-Abu just near the Mount abu toll tax gate. Easy to locate and on the main road. Mount Abu is a
very small city and you will find all the tourist spot at very short distance.
Coming to the hotel. The Hotel is pure and perfect hotel to stay at Mount-Abu at very reasonable rate. The rooms name are marked with different types of bird name. Room are very very clean ,hygienic and big. The best part is the very much maintained garden of the hotel. The staffs are very courteous and helpful always ready to run hear and there to make you feel special.
The only part is the hotel doesn't have restaurant but they have tie-up with some restaurant who will deliver delicious food at very cheap rate to your room, the other dish and plate the hotel will arrange. So no issue.
Superb stay during our visit at moun-abu. We stayed there for only one days so we doesn't have much time to enjoy the aesthetic view of the hotel. My suggestion is to stay for at least for two days if you are staying at Rising Sun Retreat only to enjoy there hospitality.
Must stay at Rising Sun Retreat if you visit Moun-abu

The property is very well maintained with spacious rooms. The food is home cooked and tasty. The staff is very courteous and accommodating.
Being a family run resort, it is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for a peaceful vacation - not in the thick of town, yet close enough to be very convenient!

As per the hotel logo i have witness 'rising sun' in the morning. Great venue for peace lovers. Good enthusiastic staff who made special arrangement for dinner in the garden which make us special.Hotel is slightly far from main market so transportation was the concern and i would like to suggest hotel managment that by putting extra lighting in the garden you can really make garden and hotel more beautiful. In nut shell, perfect place for peace lover and if you are travelling by your own vehicle.

It was nice place to stay..naturally beautiful small property..breakfast is good..for lunch you have to order on phone to Hotel Samrat..which is also good...the only disadvantage is that it is
first hotel you get when you enter mount abu..so a little far from taxi stand..but manager is friendly and will arrange vehicle or will get jeeps which are frequent. Don't book a taxi for 3 -4 days..rather go Mount ABu..and jeep or tavera drivers will taker 1200 k for 7 points including temple and nakki.
Places really to visit :Nakki (Take shikara), Prem Udyan, Dilwara temple.

We were supposed to stay at Hotel Vinayak but ended up staying at Rising Sun Retreat. I must admit that I was angry and was certain that the owners of
Hotel Vinayak played some dirty trick on me, however, later I have changed my mind. The circumstances under which I checked into Rising Sun Retreat did not help however with very sincere service they own over my heart. Mr. Mohan and Mr. Ashok, were always ready to help and they indeed went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The hotel does not have a restaurant. However, on request they serve home-cooked food. It is delicious. We enjoyed our dinners and lunch with them. The lunch was served in the garden. Loved it.
Having said all these, I would never book this place for Rs. 3500 per night - the advertized rate (as Hotel Vinayak made us check in this place, we did not have to pay for our stay at Rising Sun Retreat). The rooms are way too shabby for a Rs. 3500/per night hotel. Someone willing to pay that much would expect much better quality room, linens, bathroom and toilet - Rising Sun Retreat offers none of these, This place has a great garden, fantastic staff and thus the potential to become a good upscale retreat but the current set up is just not adequate. This is why I am calling this place "confused" - the place does not appeal to upscale travelers and is too expensive for budget travelers, the genre where it fits in.
