I had booked 2 Rooms, in Hotel Preethi Palace. It was a nice experience. The Hotel was clean and the staffs were very supportive and they knew multiple languages which
is very much essential.
Overall a nice place to stay in ooty for a reasonable price.

I checked in on 28th Aug 2013 at 12:20 PM at super deluxe room (number 201) in the second floor. I was worried how the room would be. But. I was really surprised to see a neat room with neat washroom.

This hotel good ....and its buget class hotel....rooms are also good....it has veg resturant which is average on its food...room service is average and resturant is also average in service...but its not so hygenic in the resturant......other facilities like power lift n hot water is also good....at last u dont have parking area infront of the hotel

Deluxe room is very small, two persons unable to move freely, toilet is also very small with its closet seat being unapproachable. Lift service is only from the second floor. Avoid rooms up to third floor, especially the first floor. Only consolation is its location, good restaurant and room service. For a stay of three days, I should have gone to a better hotel.

The hotel is having average rooms,NO PARKING facility they claim that they have parking facility on the sister concern hotel or a place which is 1km away from hotel,No internet and they have grinders for the restaurant kitchen is on the 4th floor so u can hear them working 24/7 .But hot water for the bathing is dirty .I was not having light in the bathroom and rest everything is fine.I went for a business trip for L&T training center Connoor.

I had booked this hotel through MMT and the booking was confirmed , after reaching the hotel I was informed by the hotel staff in a very very rude manner
that they do not have rooms available and MMT guys did not inform them. After speaking to MMT guys almost 3 hours on call and waiting outside the hotel I was again denied by the Hotel. The MMT guys were saying booking is confirmed and the Hotel guys were saying, we do not have hotels u go and stay wherever u want, after making MMT guys directly speak with the hotel staff also still the response was same. Ultimately I had to cancel the Booking and get my refund.
This is my guess of what could of had happened, it was an careless act by MMT of not confirming the hotel on time and the hotel which I think sold the rooms at a much higher price that what they were being payed by MMT.
Totally horrible service by MMT and by the hotel staff.
Would suggest you not to choose MMT, since they were responsible for the customer and they were not helpful in any way and neither this hotel in particular.

very poor service, since the entering the hotel very bad experience. poor room service, even no drinking water at room, when we entered the hotel we asked to produce hard
copy of the booking, where as i was having soft copy in my laptop, they told me to get print -out from outside right then and not even offered a seat, very annoyed with the treatment

We went to ooty during Oct 2014, and the manager of this hotel made us to stay for 1 hour saying that we will get the room but after 1 hour he said no. Then we kept on searching for other hotels, but all the hotels were booked. so finally we returned to this hotel asking the manager to let us stay for the night, sitting at the reception, since we were only 2 girls. But the manager is so inhuman that he didn't bother, that where will these 2 girls at such a late time and replied a straightaway NO to us. Finally it was 12 at night, we then went to another hotel, which allowed us. So, never ever stay in this hotel, its a pathetic one,especially the hotel manager.
