The hotel was clean and located on a very peaceful hill. Views from our room were awesome. There is a small park attached to the property which ia like added advantage for the kids. The rooms were spacious enough and staff was supportive.

We stayed in this hotel for a night, the hotel looks good from outside even the rooms are not bad, however it seems little more maintenance is required. Service is not bad, but worst experience in this hotel was power cut, I don't know whether they have generator or not! View from the room balcony is nice. The place Khajjiar itself very nice place to stay and relax. Food quality is OK. Overall the experience was not bad compare to price, definitely value for money.

I was here with my friends this December. The road to the hotel was initially blocked by snow and with some risk our driver managed to reach. We had two semi deluxe rooms and both the rooms opened to astounding views of the pirpanjal range. The hotel is a decent one but the food is not that good. We had some arguments over the food first night and second night we opted for rather a breakfast menu which was more eatable.

Was with my family recently and this hotel is in a great location over looking the valley. The hotel is quite old. I was at this hotel when temperature was - 2 degrees centigrade. The rooms are old, the toilets are old, the hotel does not have good heaters, the staff is very kind and food is good. The draw back of this hotel is it needs good heating systems in the room, a nice clean up of the rooms and revamp of the toilet fittings. The people from the hotel are very sweet and will help in any need. Since it was so cold and with small kids, the hotel offered hot water bags to warm the feet as another heater in the room would trip the mains. So i recommendation is a look for a newer hotel in Khajjiar before you finalise on this.

Hotel looks like it had very grand days in the past. Its a huge property with a huge Hanumandada statue in the property. There were boats near the statue and a big swimming pool without water.
Our package included breakfast and dinner but there was no buffet system and we had to order the food. Though whatever was there on the menu card could be ordered unlimited(In Khyber Continental - Amritsar there was no buffet and limited items could be ordered from the menu card) and the food was good.
For extra bed they provided a mattress but on request they kept two mattresses for reasonable height.
Service was good. Seems that they were willing to serve but may not have had the best equipments to serve.
The road reaching to the hotel is almost a single lane road and is hard for bigger vehicles.
From the parking the reception is many steps down(2-4 floors) so some senior citizens with us had issues of walking down the stairs.
Heater was provided on much request(First i was told that heaters are required only in snowfall, probably to avoid the heater topic) after charging extra for the heater. Charges were minimal but the heater was historical. The one with the single rod which heats. We had to find a safe place to keep it so that our children would not accidently touch it at night. We were going to take our heater along on the trip but had assumed that in Himachal all hotels would be having good heaters. Take your own heater if you go to this hotel.
