We reached hotel early in the morning and were fortunate to get early check in the room. Staff were quite co-operative to arrange pick up from Abu Road. Hotel is
quite far from city center and travelling would be issue for people looking to move around. Also, food would be a issue for pure vegetarian.
Rooms are good.

Stayed in this beautiful resort last week with my family. thanks to the management for providing us the upgrade. food was just okay, but the service and attentiveness of the staff was excellent. pool is very well maintained and the kids loved it. room service was prompt and their alacarte fare is much better than the buffet spread. Thank you team for the late check out as well. look forward to staying with you again.

Resort is not well maintained. Kids section is not developed except swimming pool. Food is good but all other facilities are not up to standard. Extra bed ( in case you have 2 kids under 4) will cost you 7000 per night. This is too much but you don't have option. Very costly and very less facilities.

I stayed at this hotel for a day's conference. The property is very huge and is located in a very calm environment. However once you enter the hotel, you feel there is a lot of scope for improvement. The room lacks basic cleanliness. Th furniture is very old. The bathroom is very small, it has sharp stone separation between bath and toilet area, and you need to be careful to avoid injury. My wife got minor injury on her toe. The swimming pool is nice. The gym is basic, but good enough. The garden area is almost dirty. The food served at restaurant is spicy. Overall, an average experience for us.

After reading both good and bad reviews, we decided to try Cama Club Resort. Because we know that there are both good and not so good resorts in India, we attempted to book this resort as we normally do - book one night in advance and then stay longer if we are satisfied. Unfortuntely, when we booked just a few days before our intended arrival, we were told that the hotel was almost fully booked and that we would have to book all three nights if we wanted to be assured the space. We agreed, and then regreted doing so once we arrived at the "resort". The room we were given reeked of moth balls, the mattress didn't seem to have any padding around the springs, the towels were threadbare and the bedding the same. And, we seemed to be one of two parties at the hotel, even though we were told they were fully booked. We immediately expressed our unhappiness to the manager, Umesh, and he told us that he understood our disatisfaction and offered to try to secure a room for us in another hotel. Soon after, he told us he had called several places and no rooms were avaialble anywhere. Umesh told us that he would refund our pre-payment for the following two days if we were able to find a room for those nights. We found rooms were avaialble at the places he had (supposedly) called and we moved the next day. Just as an aside, we asked the manager of the hotel we moved to if there had been rooms the night before and he said yes - it was low season and they had very few guests, as he imagined was the case at most hotels in Mt Abu at that time. To wind up this story, let me say that Umesh told us that the administrative office would handle the refund - which never happened. We spoke to their organization's representative who told us that Umesh had no authority to offer us a refund and that they would not stand by what he told us. We actually felt sorry for Umesh because he had been embarrased by his superiors. The whole situation was so distasteful it negatively impacted our enjoyment of the area.
