Budget Hotel not Worth the price

We visited Udaipur during the Christmas break and as this was a last minute plan we could book only this hotel. The fact that this was available till the last day should have raised an Alarm. The two good things about this hotel is the Owner (I am assuming he was ). He was accommodating and pleasant to interact with. The remaining staff just wanted to get rid of the guests. The Room we were allocated were large but was grossly under maintained. Curtains/ Bed-sheets etc were shabby. The Bathroom was the worst. Not cleaned for ages. Non functional taps just to name a few. The Hotel does have parking which is a luxury in this part of the city. The Second Good part was the location. The City palace is just walk-able and so are most of the attractions. the Hotel does not have a restaurant which was a big downer as we could not have breakfast before we started our day nor could come back late in the evening and have dinner. I will not stay at this place again even if it is the only place available. I would rather cancel the trip.

This hotel is situated in the main city area and one can visit majority famous attractions of Udaipur city like Taj lake palace and City palace. Rooms are overall good and not suggesting for long stay.
