This was an amazing place to stay. Its an old heritage traditional bungalow which has been nicely restored and converted with all modern amenities. We had two rooms one of which was huge with a very big bathroom. The market is close by but French quarter and the sea beach is a short ride away. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was total value for money.

Not your typical hotel, they don't provide with much amenities but if you want to experience something local and peaceful, this place is highly recommended. Feels very old school. The bedrooms and the bathrooms are quite big and comfortable. Good for groups of friends travelling, can host evening parties on the terrace.

I'll go. We booked a room in villa sentosa for the family and paid in full. We then went out for a wonderful day in pondicherry. We come back at 9pm and find out that our room was given to someone else. We were told that our booking was "cancelled". After paying IN FULL! What's worse the hotel did not bother to inform us and decided the best person to tell us this fact would be the cleaning lady while the manager and owner were unreachable. So a family of two women and one five year old child were put into the streets on a holiday weekend in the middle of the night. Top that.

Villa Sentosa is a traditional Tamil home converted into a Guest House ( not Hotel ). Any time, any season this is a pure Rs 2000-2500 category accommodation. Actual Status Of The Property 1) This is a charming but extremely poorly kept property. 2) The entire staff ( 3 people) are local untrained boys who do not speak Hindi and understand broken English. 3) The linen and towels are stained and filthy. 4) The GM manages two other properties and is simply not interested despite guests complaining. 5) Location is in a narrow residential colony, parking is difficult. 6) No intercom to call reception Kindly use Google to stay in any Hotel/Villa in White Town instead of this. All those are much more charming and conveniently located. College kids etc will find this suitable, any married couples, discerning families please avoid this. Please see photos carefully to form an opinion. Its an old Villa converted as Stay. There is a strong antique or paint smell inside the rooms which causes nausea. Basic amenities like toiletries are given only on demand. Geyser in the room did not work. The main problem is parking, which is just made on the road outside the hotel. As the location is in residential area, often the hotel staff will request to move the vehicle based on-road needs.
