The best thing during our stay was the food. We enjoyed their buffets. The staff was good and cooperative. The assisted us and we had a warm welcome in the hotel. Special thanks to the food manager for dealing in such a good manner and telling us about everything.

Viceroy Hotel in Darjeeling offers impeccable service and breathtaking views. My week-long stay at Viceroy Hotel in Darjeeling was delightful. The staff, particularly Vivek, Vishal, and special mention Mr. Arindam Sen (excellent host), were exceptionally attentive and friendly, ensuring a comfortable and memorable experience throughout. The hotel's ambiance was cozy and welcoming, complemented by its picturesque location. The rooms were well-maintained, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills and mighty Kanchenjunga. Overall, Viceroy Hotel provided impeccable service and a perfect retreat for anyone visiting Darjeeling. The complimentary breakfast was nice too. We would plan for future visits. Things that could improve are amenities like fireplace, gaming, etc., which could have been offered complimentary with the stay.

Worst as for executive rooms but awesome restaurant

Would like to thank Mr.Sen restaurant manager for the hospitality. Great food, good ambience & awesome service & food. Mousse made by Mr.Sen was a delight. At the same time would like to emphasis on rooms.I had booked executive room & there was nothing executive about it. Very clumsy rooms, shabby toilet. Hot water only 1 lucky person can avail for hot water. Water outlet from washroom so small that while taking shower the shower area becomes pool. It's an absolute chaos. There are rules & regulations list. Tiny lawn has been made but no walking on lawn. Pool (snooker) kids not allowed, it has been kept on tiles, if tiles broken same will be charged. Inspite of this pool table cud have been kept on carpet so that there won't be any damage for tiles & even kids can enjoy the same. Sundeck excellent concept but cud have been covered like top shade so that people can enjoy hot coffee on sundeck alongwith the view. Coffee or exclusive Darjeeling tea counter wud be a great addition on to the business as well. View from the room was pathetic. My initial room was stinking of drainage behind the room , photos attached.later on same was changed but on higher floor but view remains the same. Overall stay was not pleasant but yes restaurant is great & Mr. Sen Thumbs up. Great playlist of songs it was nostalgic.

It was our first time in Darjeeling and we loved the hospitality of the viceroy hotel. Right from the reception the staff were very polite and helpful. Coming to the main star of the hotel Mr Arindam Sen the F&B Manager of the hotel took extra care towards my family during our stay. His eye to detail and jolly nature made him exclusive out of everyone. His team as well did a great job. Just one negative point I need to add is about the housekeeping guy not sure of his name (guy wearing specs) was rude whenever we did ask him for something. Rest everything was great and will surely come back.
