Hi, Any future travellers, if you want to stay in a hotel which give you the feel like home then you come to the right place. Here you find the food like home And the staff is well educated and disciplined and know about there work. Special mention of our chef Mr. Tariq Khan and our hotel manager Mr. Ikhlas. Triden resorts is an excellent budget hotel located at a wonderful place. The Dal lake is about 5 minutes walk (and this part of the lake, near Naseem Bagh, is not croded like Lal Chowk; it is very close to the university and the Hazratbal shrine), and you can have a view of the mountains from your room (always ask Ikhlas bhai for those rooms, the sunrise is something to watch!). We were 4 and took two double rooms. The rooms and washrooms are clean and spacious, overall the ambience is very nice. The restaurant is nothing great but you can have a good breakfast and dinner (they were included in the MAP deal). The staff are very helpful, particularly Ikhlas bhai. If you do not expect a 5-star facility from a 3-star hotel, this would be ideal for you.

We spent two nights at this hotel and had a fairly good experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are of average standard and could do with an overhaul. There is room for improvement on the cleanliness front. The towels and bed linen need to be replaced. The staff across all departments, were efficient and catered to our needs. Abid, who works in the restaurant, went out of his way to serve us. The receptionist was also extremely helpful, coming to our rescue when needed. The view behind the hotel was fantastic - a snow caped mountain was visible in the distance.

Worst experience ever. Not recommended at all. Way too dirty. I hated it. Never gonna stay there ever again.

Worst hotel experience ever. Washroom was too dirty and smelly . Very very dirty. I hated it. Blanket was dirty. They didn’t provide any bathroom sandals, we had to ask for one. It looked good from outside but the rooms were worst. When we arrived the rooms weren’t clean. Bathroom was dirty, there were cigarette straws on the floor, we had to tell to clean it up. Also food was bad. Food was cold and they don’t refill it in time.
