Serving staff was very rude food quality was below average didn’t get the gst bill so overall it was a bad experience location is ok but staff should be changed immediately if they want to run the restaurant.

We had party in this hotel. Most of the our guest fell ill with food posioning, stomach pain, and vomiting. 4-5 members got admitted in Hospital. We complained to the hotel manager Mr. Rakesh but he did not listen. Now we have filed case in consumer court. They also did not give us GST invoice, ae asked multiple times for this. Never book this hotel and never eat their food.

I went to chandigarh for 2 days and 1 night so booked a budget hotel the tulip.It is located in sector 43b which is close to my work place as well.Staff was very welcoming at reception.My room was very clean and nicely arranged.I also had breakfast in my room which was good.Staff service was very good,staff is very well trained and polite.Some basic amenities were there in room.Overall it is nice option for short stay,specially if you are travelling alone.

This is our second visit to Hotel the Tulip, each being of a week's duration. The staff are friendly and helpful above and beyond mere duty. This is a gem of a hotel, beautiful décor and beautiful ambience. The food is fabulous. Even my Indian friends visiting agreed. Housekeeping is top notch and so is room service. I recommend this hotel for all Australians visiting Chandigarh and other people. My manual wheelchair fitted into the lift and there was ample room to manoeuvre in the bedroom. As is very usual in India, bathroom and toilet doors are narrower than other doors so w/chairs do not go through. A degree of ability to weight bear and move to shower chair (plastic chair supplied on request) and toilet is needed. The w/chair did not bother anybody at the Tulip as they helped me up and down the ramp each day. Foreign credit cards may not work at the desk. Our Mastercard did not.

Honest and Elaborated review: I booked a room for 2500Rs here thinking that it will be a good hotel but once i entered the hotel i was shocked.Though staff was very courteous i must say and the guy on the reception desk welcomed me very well...But if u talk about this property its in the worst condition..Lift was not working and i had to reach 3rd floor on foot 3 to 4 times as i had work in chd and i had to come to room for breaks...Room was more than pathetic.Wash room was even more worse and for breakfast they dont have a restaurant..They asked me that what do u want to have in the breakfast sir..i told them that i will go to restaurant and will have breakfast on my own...n to my surprise thet didnt have restaurant..Though food was ok..but overall i would say a one star property..second star is just for the courtesy of the staff...
