A great resort to unwind and recharge from the hustle and bustle of city life. The hospitality by the staff was excellent, and the butler service(Lakshay) was top-notch. A special shout-out to Megha and her team for arranging our room a full six hours before the standard check-in time — it was a huge help as we were traveling with a toddler and arrived early in the morning. Truly a 5⭐️ experience!

The opening scenes of Netflix’s “The Royals”—shown as Sri Lanka—were actually filmed right here, at the stunning St. Regis Goa Resort. And honestly, the setting couldn’t be more perfect. Formerly known as The Leela Goa, this iconic property opened in 1991 and has long been regarded as Goa’s premier luxury resort. In 2022, it rebranded as St. Regis Goa, and post-renovation, it feels fresher, grander, and more contemporary than ever. The pool, rooms, and several key areas have been beautifully updated while still preserving the resort’s legendary charm. Location & Grounds: Located in South Goa, the resort enjoys direct beach access—and it’s one of the cleanest, most peaceful stretches of sand you’ll find at any five-star in the state. The expansive estate includes lush gardens, lagoons, and even a full-fledged golf course, which is a rare feature even among top-tier resorts in India. Rooms & Suites: I stayed in the Manor Pool Suite, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The space is humongous, elegant, and comes with a private pool that made it hard to ever leave the room. It’s a blend of quiet luxury and sheer indulgence. Food & Beverage: During the monsoon (June), three restaurants were operational: • Miri – The all-day dining venue, where I enjoyed one of the most impressive Sunday brunches I’ve seen in a while. • OLIVETO – Their Italian fine-dining restaurant, where I had the chance to make my own pizza during an Italian cooking class led by a Sicilian chef. I don’t care what anyone says—that pizza was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had. • Riverside – An Asian fine-dining restaurant with a beautiful location and a great menu. Every dish was thoughtfully executed. The F&B here is exceptional, and honestly, Goa rarely sees this level of consistency across cuisines. Service: Service was impeccable throughout. A special shoutout to my butler, Rohan, who was warm, efficient, and always a step ahead of my needs. From restaurant reservations to champagne on call—everything was handled perfectly. Experiences & Rituals: St. Regis is known for its signature champagne sabering ceremony, held each evening—and I was fortunate to not only attend but also participate in a sabering class. It’s these thoughtful, well-curated moments that elevate the entire stay. Final Thoughts: The rebranded St. Regis Goa has not just lived up to the Leela legacy—it’s redefined it. With its updated design, exceptional food, and classic St. Regis rituals, it’s now among the very best luxury resorts in India. Whether you’re a returning guest or a first-time visitor, this is one of those properties that’s practically impossible not to love.

I recently stayed at the St. Regis Goa and my experience was exceptional. We booked the Manor Suite that included airport transfers in a swanky BMW. The suite was spacious and well-appointed, with a private plunge pool that added a touch of exclusivity. From the soft, comfortable bed to the thoughtfully curated amenities, everything was spot on for a relaxing stay. What made our experience even better was the exceptional service. Rohan and Roshan, our butlers, were fantastic, always available, prompt, and incredibly thoughtful. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Shubham who is the head of butler service, also ensured that everything was smooth and checked in with us regularly. Now, let’s talk about the food which was hands down some of the best I’ve had, not just in Goa but at any luxury hotel. • At Riverfront, the Asian dishes were packed with flavours, and the riverside setting added to the vibe. • Miri, the all-day dining restaurant, had an incredible breakfast and brunch spread that was difficult to resist. Everything was delicious and made to perfection. • Oliveto, the Italian restaurant, impressed us with its authentic wood-fired pizzas and oh so creamy pastas. Don’t forget to try thier Tiramisu, it was impeccable. The St. Regis Spa was a winner i’d say. The soothing ambiance and skilled therapists made it an ideal place to unwind. We tried their signature therapy recommended by Dr Praseed Nair. We even had floating breakfast one of the days and a champagne Sabering masterclass at the suite and it was so much fun. Whether it’s the food, the service, or the serene setting, everything about St. Regis Goa hits the spot. It’s a place I’d happily return to, and one I’d recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious and hassle-free escape.

We stayed in their Manor Pool suite (being their top suite offered for the time being) for three nights and availed the complimentary airport transfer service. Mr. Samir the driver was extremely polite and nice and we specially requested to be dropped back to the airport during checkout by him. The hotel was earlier a Leela Palace Property and although undergoing renovation (most of the suites are under renovation), is amazing. The property gorgeous, is lush green with lagoons and is huge. It has its own beach and although it was raining and the sea was rough, it was beautiful to walk on the beach during the rain. We were received by their head butler Mr. Shubham Sharma who also head the bell and the concierge. The main lobby is exceptionally beautiful - built like a palace with a koi fish pond. The Manor Suite is quite spacious, nice with a lovely plunge pool. It has a separate kitchenette and a powder room. The plunge pool is quite large. The room is nice with all modern amenities but will be soon taken up for renovation. Manor suites are located in a separate area of the property which is like a gated part of the hotel. It has it exclusive swimming pool along with a lounge. We were allotted one of the nicest suites # 931 which overlooked the Golf course, the sea, very near the Manor lounge and the Manor swimming pool. One can always use the main pool in the property which is huge next to the lobby. They have many award-winning restaurants on the property and a nice SPA. We did try the SPA but they don’t have a functional couple’s room yet as it is under renovation. The therapists were good and the massage was very relaxing. Breakfast at Miri was good but the place gets overcrowded as the hotel was running at full capacity. The dinner @ Miri was avoidable due to the chaos. Their in-room dining is also very nice. We also opted to have breakfast at Manor lounge which was amazing. The lounge also offers an extensive complimentary high tea and happy hours and serves non alcoholic beverages during the day. We had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Apoorv Jawa – their young, dynamic hotel Manager. Need to thank their bell team – Mr. Umanand (who took us around the property), (golf cart drivers) - Mr. Mahabaleshwar (very friendly and chatty with whom I engaged in lots of conversations), Mr. Shanker and Mr. Shahnawaz. At the Manor Akriti, Sunny and Jessica were outstanding and so were the chefs. Mr. Rohan Melanta - butler assigned to us. This property is extremely beautiful. They have activities planned for the entire week – their bar cum game room is very nice – we did use the Table tennis table. Once renovated fully, it will be - as we feel the best hotel in Goa having one of the nicest beaches. We are looking forward to visit them once again after their renovations are completed sometime during October – November 2025.
