During our recent stay at The Roseate, Delhi, our experience was far below expectations, particularly concerning customer service. We booked four rooms for our family, which includes elderly members, expecting a comfortable and convenient setup. However, we were given rooms on four separate floors. This arrangement made it difficult for our family to move between floors and stay connected. When we approached the reception to address this issue, the response was unsatisfactory. The reception manager informed us that it was the hotel's policy to allocate rooms this way, which was surprising and inconvenient, given our family's needs. Additionally, the financial aspects of our stay were equally frustrating. Despite booking for nine people, the hotel charged an exorbitant fee of almost 8000 INR for an extra bed for just two nights. The charges felt excessive, with little to no justification, especially considering the level of service provided. The staff's attitude throughout our stay was unhelpful and often rude, marking a stark contrast to the renowned Indian hospitality. The customer service was severely lacking, with no evident skills in hospitality management. Complaints and requests were met with slow responses, and at times, complete disregard. Moreover, the hotel's internet service was painfully slow, adding another layer of disappointment to our experience. For a hotel that presents itself as a luxury destination, these issues were unacceptable. Overall, I would rate The Roseate, Delhi, 0 out of 5 stars due to the poor customer service, excessive charges, and general disregard for guest convenience and satisfaction. It's unfortunate, but I would not recommend this hotel to travelers seeking a pleasant and stress-free stay in Delhi. Rooms1.0
