The Quarter is located in the heart of the city with easy access to the Bus Station and Rathcathewi BTS Skytrain station. The hotel is spotlessly clean and has a lovely balcony on the mezzanine floor where you can meet and hang out with fellow travelers. The bonus is an amazing spread for breakfast. Cons: No lifts which means carrying our own luggage upstairs.

I was staying at a apartment opposite The Quarter Poshtel so decided to check out this place. It’s a dormitory with the lobby double up as a cosy breakfast cafe. I went there on two separate mornings. On the first day I’d ordered a fruit yoghurt breakfast. It was good. On the second day I’d ordered a scrambled egg breakfast. I think it was a new staff manning the outlet, it took quite a while to have the food ready. The staff manning the reception was very friendly. It was not crowded as I was there after 9am. Wifi worked well so a good place for me to get some works well without being disturbed. If you are in the Ratchathewi area, check out The Quarter which is situated by the traffic light junction.

We chose this poshtel because of its location. BTS is easily accessed by just crossing the road. We actually booked a superior room with private bathroom for 3-4 persons but got upgraded to the room that can fit up to 8 persons when arriving. The staff is very friendly. After checking in, one staff walked us to the room while explaining facilities and stuff about this poshtel. The room is clean and spacious. The bed and linens are good quality. But it seems to have limited light for the common space in the room. What we love the most is the bathroom. The shower and restroom are made separated which will be pretty convenient if you have many people staying in 1 room. Breakfast is included in the room price. It was good but small amount. As they also sell breakfast for non-guests (~THB150/person), we found their breakfast set came in a larger portion than us. One more thing is that this property has no lift but quite steep stairs. It’s ok for us but be careful if you travel with old people. Overall, very satisfied.

I love the place and the design. The rooms are really nice and have to share one bathroom which gives you a lot of privacy. The staff is really friendly and helpful as well. They prepared my breakfast for the next morning and stored it in the fridge as I had to leave the hostel in the morning at 4am! The breakfast was good and tasty. Sadly the common area is not as big and therefore it is a bit difficult to catch up and meet other travellers. But this hostel might be great for a business trip as it is neither noisy or load.
