We stayed at this resort in April because we all half decent hotels in Srinagar were sold out. This resort is an hour away from the main city centre and the traffic of Srinagar is quite unreliable. After making the booking, my husband had a hard time reaching anyone on the phone for any queries. When I reached out for Gulmarg related queries, they were very unhelpful. We stayed her with my parents and in laws for my daughter's 2nd birthday. The service is terrible. They refused to give milk for a child at 6.30 am and asked us to wait for the kitchen to open. It would take 30 mins for lukewarm milk to arrive. Breakfast would be served at 8 am, even though the time was 7.30 am. They wouldn't place cutlery, water, glasses etc on the table unless specifically asked to do so. A la carte lunch took ages, it took 45 mins for buttermilk and Diet Coke. The driver that they hired for us took the longest route from Gulmarg, would debate if we wanted to go to stores he didn't have a tie up with. He took us to the place where Shikara ride costs 8k!!! When we insisted that this is unreasonably expensive, he complained about traffic at the cheaper place. We had a horrendous experience at this resort and it is not worth the tariff charged. Wouldn't recommend staying with a child.

The ambience and the food was very good. It was a delightful experience. The staff members Mr. Tahir, Mr. Ashraf and Mr. Danish were very nice and helpful. Food was amazing and appetizing. I strongly suggest people to visit the Orchards for a quality time.

An excellent hotel with co-operative staff. The rooms are well-maintained & food is also good ! The garden area is simply superb & we could see Tulips there. The room has all the desired amenities & hotel’s landscaping has been done beautifully. The staff is really nice !

We Booked two nights in this hotel this hotel is not even a 3 star staff were helpful other than that everything was a nightmare took us 1 hour to reach this place from narrow streets the location is far away from city centre food was average the taxi guy asked many people nobody know this place not even locals this property needs a renovation
