On our Journey towards Leh, we gave a two days break at Srinagar. Orchard retreat was selected online and we booked directly with the resort. Though we were taken aback by the location when we reached the resort on 1.7.25 at about 10.30 pm. The staff was courteous and offered us welcome drink of our choice. The tranquility and peace at the resort was overwhelming, that we could not have enjoyed in any hotel in the city. The 30 minute distance from the city was worth the trouble when we factored in living in a lush green environment amongst fruit bearing trees. The breakfast was fulfilling and staff was quick to respond to our requirements. Masala omelet & sambhar was too good. We asked to meet the chef and the Executive Chef of the property Mr Rasees came to our table in no time. We asked for special Kashmiri dishes for dinner ie Wazwan. He patiently explained the wazwan to us and offered to prepare a few of the items for us. It was a feast and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The dinning experience was enhanced immensely by Mr Parvez and Mr Javed, who catered to all our requirements and made us feel at home. Because of their positive attitude and good food, we stayed there again when coming back from Leh.

Excellent property. Great land scraping. Rooms very spacious and toilet fitted with quality fittings. AC and heater Wi-Fi functional. Good equipment in outdoor recreation area and also indoor games. Good food spread. Tasty veg and non veg dishes. Courteous and very helpful staff. Reasonable cost

Wonderful stay! We recently stayed at Orchard Retreat, Srinagar, and had a fantastic experience. The hospitality here is truly top-notch and made our trip even more memorable. A special mention for Tanbir, our cab driver - he was extremely friendly, helpful, and always offered genuine advice about places to visit and things to do. His warm nature and local insights really made exploring Srinagar, Sonmarg, Gulmarg, and Pahalgam, easy and enjoyable. He was so friendly with my son and connected amazingly well with him. The restaurant team also deserves huge appreciation - Parveez, Lateef, Javeed, Akhter, Rahil, and Bilal went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They were always courteous, attentive, and especially wonderful with our little toddler. They even customized meals for us, ensuring quick service without compromising on quality. It felt like dining with family! The property itself is beautiful — serene, clean, and perfect for a relaxing holiday. Highly recommend Orchard Retreat for anyone visiting Srinagar, especially families traveling with young children.

This is one of the best trips of my life. I went with my family and stayed in Orchard resort and retreat in Srinagar. The reason why we had such a smooth trip was Tanveer ( Tanveer Bashir) . He picked us up from the airport and the first interaction with him was very comforting. He has such a nice soul and warm heart filled with amazing humor and caring nature. He took our whole responsibility to take us to Pahalgam and then again coming back to Srinagar. He also arranged other cars that we needed to go to specific spots like Aru valley, Betab Valley and Chandanwari ( where we need specific cars only to travel) . The BEST part of this trip was going to Sinthan top ( which was Tanveer's idea primarily) and we never regretted. This place is highly recommended to get fresh snow ( specially in April and may ) . All over we had a very nice trip and thanks to Tanveer for his constant guidance and care towards us .
