I'm in love with the hotel. The level of hospitality and superior quality to everything is unparalleled. This hotel has ruined me for any other stay. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. I started for 14 days and the staff was mindful that we don't get bored with the food. The quality of food is also excellent. I lost a packet due to my own carelessness and they really put in the effort to find and return it. Love, love, love the hotel

Great experience from the beginning to the end. We are natives of Kolkata so visiting the restaurants at the Grand Hotel is no new experience for us, but we as a family have been wishing to stay at the hotel for some time now. Finally, we were able to do that in April 2024 to cepebrate my birthday, when we booked a 2N/3D staycation. And the experience was phenomenal. The hospitality, facilities, and comfort are unmatched. The colonial-era aesthetics with their old-world charm are beautiful. The food at Baan Thai in particular was delicious - as has been the case since the first time we visited the restaurant. The breakfast spread was one of the best I've seen in India so far, serving some rare locally source indigenous fruits. The housekeeping staff in charge of the 2nd floor were extremely courteous and helpful, providing great service. The front desk staff were very helpful and always available to meet every feasible requirement. The swimming pool is very clean with beautiful tree-lined surrounding. The spa and gym are also very well-equipped and aesthetic. We also had the complimentary airport pick-up/drop facility with our booking and we had a very comfortable ride with a very courteous chaffeur. The only inconvenience was that they do not have a facility to add extra beds, even if the room is big enough - at most 2 adults are allwoed per room so we has 3 adults had to book 2 rooms even though each room was large enough to add an extra bed had that been available. Summarising thus, this was a very pleasnt stay with excellent rooms, luxurious amenities, and extremely capable top-notch staff who have the guests' best interests in mind. I would thus highly recommend The Oberoi Grand as a luxury hotel for anyone visiting Kolkata - the hotel with its entire crew will ensure that you fall in love with the hotel as well as the city.
