Payel ( lobby hostess) from client relations team is very kind & helpful. The hotel is very clean & plush with 7 star facilities. Will love to come here again. Being on sea side ..this place makes a marvellous view & anyone seeking grandeur in Chennai must visit here

Leela offered great facilities in a brief stop-off in Chennai. We had a club room which benefitted from airport transfers, club areas and some other benefits which were great. The stand out feature was breakfast which might have been the most expansive breakfast offering in any hotel anywhere. In addition the service was attentive and our WhatsApp butler Susmit was helpful with good advice and helpful planning. However I’m stopping short at the full 5 stars because the room was a little tired, the prices of drinks and food by the pool and in the room were extremely high and the admin in terms of booking, check-in and check-out was all quite painful… lots of steps, lots of signatures, lots of paperwork. Would I stay again if I came back to Chennai, yes!

Despite the fact that we were much delayed in arriving (having been diverted to Hyderabad until the smoke from Boghi had cleared sufficiently to land at Chennai airport), our Leela driver was cheerful and welcoming. We were checked in efficiently and shown our room by the wonderful Mr Tushar Dogra whose helpfulness throughout our stay seemed to know no bounds. Our Royal Club Seaview room was lovely with lush soft furnishings and stunning art work. It had a balcony overlooking the Adyar River which was teeming with shorebirds - Mr Dogra ensured that chairs were brought so we could birdwatch in comfort. Breakfast was always very busy and we sometimes had to wait a few minutes to be seated, but it was worth it! There was a very extensive range of food, probably one of the best breakfast buffets I've experienced. Room service was prompt, food was hot and nicely presented. We also tried the lunch buffet which was also good. The Club lounge was excellent, interesting food choices, plentiful wine and staff who were efficient and engaging. All-in-all, a splendid place to start our holiday.

The best customer service you can think of! Everyone was willing and ready to assist with anything. The food was really great and the room was clean and tidy. People at the hotel were extremely good and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel because they are the best in town.
