you know there was a time when I would’ve read this hotel five out of five I truly believe that the inn at fox hollow was the b eat secret on long island. Boy was I wrong?! please? No I do still think as to boutiques onthe Island it's aces…although.

Need new receptionist who answer the phone correctly

So I was considering this hotel to stay at with my guest for when I get married ,but when I called to get the information the person that answered the phone acted like he had an attitude. All I did was asked questions and he answered as if I was asking stupid questions. Then I proceeded to ask if I’m getting married at 4pm will I able to check in at an earlier time answer was a straight no . I’m very upset because it would’ve been convenient for me to stay here being that I’m getting married so close to the hotel .

EPIC….from the crackling fireplace that greets you to the delicious and vast breakfast that sends you on your way…The Inn at Fox Hollow will not disappoint!! It is an all suite hotel with a contemporary flair which somehow exudes a warmth and welcome befitting an Olde English Inn. Its friendly and professional staff couldn’t be more obvious about their “out to please” mission. Rooms are meticulously appointed with full sized refrigerators, down comforters and several choices of pillow density! An unexpected pleasure was the perfect Manhattan I enjoyed from their lobby bar. In this age of mediocrity (at best) oin’t miss this hidden jewel which offers you hospitality and accommodations extraordinaire!!

We booked it for my daughter's wedding, beautifully place..unfortunately they broke up.. so there is no wedding. The problem i'm having and I do advice not to pay anything upfront. They give you a plan to pay, so I made 2 payments upfront before the deadlines and now I want those payments back and they refuse... I know what the contract says and i have no issues loosing the downpayment and the other payments but not the payments i MADE before it was due.$5400 is a lot of money. all together is $11900.00 not fair. they have a exceptions on there website really" i spoke with Michael and he said the exception is death WOW" death. that's kind of obvious. I'm going viral because it's not fair.$5400 all i wanted. Michael is the Manager and he said that if i get money back they wanted me to sign a waiver which i would loose the rest of the money if they rented the place. These people care only about money yet they don't show that when you sign the contract...I am going to take this to the next level. small claims court which i should at least get $5K and every other place form. I was looking to get what was mine, not more.

If Renovated and Updated, this quaint venue would be marvelous. The suites are good sizes and most of the staff very warm and friendly. Carpet is dark, dingy, and very worn, beds are not comfortable, bathrooms have the very low sinks so if you are average height or taller — very uncomfortable (this is all rooms not just handicapped). The worst is that they don’t clean the sink or shower drains!!! Our drains were not working. My husband pulled mounds of other guests jet black hair from the drains. It nauseated us. Convenient racks in bathrooms are rusted, curtains in units are drab and dusty. Our room was not appropriately clean upon arrival. There was a used soap on the sink and black curly hairs near the toilet (we are blond haired). The included breakfast and dinners are a lovely idea - but quality very lacking. Breakfast - powdered eggs, soggy bacon buffet style. Guests in main area unkempt rolled out of bed—no bathrobes on even! We were here an entire week but only stayed for one dinner. Salads fresh and lovely, corn bread fresh and delicious, entree (a steak dish of sorts smothered in a sauce - flat piece of over done type of meat total yuck). - we decided to go elsewhere for dinners near by for the rest of our visit. We travel - have stayed at many hotels and Inns This Inn has sooo much potential!! Please owners Renovate and update it with light clean decor. Up the quality of the food or charge a fee for the upgrade! Quality over quantity would do this place well.
