Only the top layer is good....rest is all scrap...rooms have been made where ever space available like a bhool bhulaia.......understand the owner is the boss of this area and can do anything for his properties......food is sometimes good....even the staff are sugary for the 1st time and then the customers are like nomads......

I usually don’t write reviews, but after experiencing one of the worst hotel stays, I felt compelled to share my experience at Citi Residenci Hotel in Durgapur. Having stayed in both budget and luxury hotels, this was by far the worst hotel I have ever encountered. The reasons are as follows: 1. Loud Music at Night – On all three nights of my stay, loud music played late into the night, making it extremely difficult to sleep. The noise was clearly audible in the rooms, ruining any chance of rest. 2. Unhygienic Lift – One morning, I found the elevator floor covered in plastic, seemingly to hide vomit. This was highly unprofessional and unsanitary. 3. Dirty Linen & Poor Food Quality – The bed linen was visibly dirty, which was unacceptable. Additionally, the food quality did not match the high prices they charged. 4. Dishonest Billing Practices – The hotel staff lacked integrity when it came to billing, which only worsened the overall experience. If you are traveling to Durgapur, avoid this hotel at all costs and explore better alternatives in the area.

A very nice hotel, conveniently located in city centre at Durgapur with all the amenities like swimming pool, gym, spa etc. The room is spacious, clean and most important point for me , the toilet is clean, without smell and moderately spacious. The complimentary breakfast spread is also ample. The stuffs are nice and cooperative

Worst experience. Stayed here for 4 nights in oct 2024. 1) We stayed here for a company program and some of us came early and our company paid for the same. But they were not sure whether to serve us dinner or not for that day. Very embarrassing. 2) they mix up vegetarian and non vegetarian items in the dining hall and do not name them properly making it very difficult for vegetarians to eat. 3) After breakfast on 25.10.2024, my colleagues and I sat leisurely in the lobby and a hotel front desk staff asked me to behave with ETIQUETTES and sit properly. It may be their hotel policy not to sit in the lobby but they could have told me politely. Humiliation. They were not trained properly to be in front desk. Very rude staff. The hotel management should train their staff properly and recruit only those persons having some decency. 4) Bathroom and toilets were not cleaned properly. 5)There are a number of hotels in the same location. so there is nothing special about this hotel. 6) There are five floors and there is no lift access to the top floor.

Totally careless hotel staff. 5th floor rooms are worst & lift doesn’t go on that floor & they have cunningly not mentioned this in their postings. They say, King size beds are available only on 5th floor. I booked for King size beds, but had to settle for twin single beds. Even petty services are much much delayed & come after several chase-ups at this hotel. Didn’t expect such a careless attitude for service at this hotel. Only good quality is good here, but that too comes so late, that the mood is spoiled, hunger is killed & important time for other work is lost.
