The property is situated at a serene location away from city's hustle bustle, the rooms are comfortable and every corner of the hotel has picturesque views. The food at the restaurant was very good (we had taken ala carte), even the high tea in the evening hours was quite good. The pool was an altogether different experience with temp controller water. Highly recommended to relax from city life.

Me and my wife spent 3 nights at the property. While there were heavy rains but the property is very well maintained and has amazing landscape around. We love the hospitality offered and the food was simply great. Strongly recommend anyone travelling to that part to consider staying here!!

We came to the Taj Chia Kutir for our anniversary trip and a quiet retreat...it was a wonderful experience, greatly enhanced by the weather...we were literally sitting in the clouds! Glad to note that the Taj-ness is still strong in service and hospitality. The local cuisines were terrific. Kudos to the Chef!

If you keep aside the food, the experience was awesome. The food unfortunately needs lot of improvement. Breakfast spread was minimal with almost nothing for small kids. Many of the preparations far too salty.

A very nice property, located in a scenic setting, amazing with the all round greenery and especially picturesque when it rains, with low passing cloud banks.The warmth, courtesy, service and hospitality provided by ALL staff without exception, was top notch. Always ready to please, is a positive attitude towards a guest! We were upgraded to a Premium Room with a very charming view. The room was adequately spacious and well furnished. Sanjana and Rima/front desk did a great job with pre-arrival comms with clarity and the welcome formalities. Chauffeur Uday was very pleasant and knowledgeable re local spots and culture. Breakfast and High-tea was served at the Chia Verandah with a substantial spread. Kaustuv, Sonam, Rishika, Deepshika, Anshuman, Suvena and Mr Bhattacharya ensured we were more than adequately fed and the service was superb. Extras, not on the menu would be also be provided, which was so welcoming. Mr Bhattacharya, an old friend from Taj Rishikesh, also ensured our Restaurant and In-Room Dining requirements were well taken care of. In-Room Dining food was well prepared and of adequate quantity, with pleasant and prompt service by Tanmoy, Avatar, Pratyush and the complimentary cheese platter/wine/additional dishes was a very pleasant surprise, thank you. HK/Satya took adequate care wrt room cleanliness, turn down service and stocking up of toiletries and grooming essentials. The Spa experience was very good and Pui was a thorough professional. Checkout was also well taken care of by Mahesh. Overall our stay was very pleasant and comfortable with no fuss. Thank you Mr Lote/GM and ALL your staff for providing a high standard of graciousness, hospitality and generosity during our stay at your property, much appreciated!
