My stay at Taj Chandigarh was absolutely delightful—I felt genuinely welcomed from the moment I arrived. I checked in late at night just to rest before I drove out in the morning. Booking the Taj has always been a no brainer. However I walked into my room tired and exhausted to a non functional AC and non functional Fridge. I was exhausted and was forced to use a tiny portable fan I carry to fall asleep. I did not have the energy to complain and change the room at the time. When I informed them in the morning the maintenance team came and checked and said only the fan was functional. Point of this is that I was very disappointed and uncomfortable with my stay. I would expect the rooms to be checked prior to a guest checking in at least at an establishment as the the Taj. Clearly the standards have depreciated and I was also appalled at the service recovery which was waiving off the bill for a club sandwich to compensate for an extremely uncomfortable stay.

A decent stay at the Taj Chandigarh, for a night. The hotel is located at the heart of the city in Sector 17 and accessible to all locations effectively. The facilities are adequate and must experience it at least once during your stay in Chandigarh.
